the aluminum extruder you can upgrade later since it comes with one but it's the shit design
the capricorn tube is a 100% must

if you want a new nozzle that's fine but dont buy cheap brass

i use these
copper plated are harder than brass so they dont get shredded when you use abraisive filaments like glow in the dark or wood fill or whatever
yet better than stainless steel / hardened steel because steel fucks up the temperatures

I'll cross that bridge when I get different filament. For now it's mostly going to be shop-jigs, holders, etc.

brass is fine to start out with but if i started over i would replace mine immediately with copper plated

i am lucky i can get inland brand locally or on amazon
if you can get inland brand i'd suggest that cuz it's good and relatively cheap
otherwise try hatchbox, sunlu, esun
then there are lots of fancy filament brands that overcharge for cool colors like filamentium or proto pasta or whatever

i have a raspberry pi attached to each printer
you can run an octoprint container on proxmox if you want

printer will be in my workshop, long way away from the proxmox

i have a $8 knockoff pi camera connected to the csi camera port on each pi
otherwise you can use microsd or sd card whatever that printer uses

you can also technically use an old android phone or something via a community hack but i wouldnt use that myself

you might want the dual connector variant
it's the same thing just has a spot to put a tube on both sides (like directly to a dry box to keep filament dry)

esun isnt bad i've never used it but plenty of people like it
i've used a multicolor eryone that was good
i really like ttyt3d silk rainbow pla too
i wouldnt use that as your first roll tho
silks expand when printing and layer adhesion isnt as good as non silks
but they're really cool for printing stuff
plenty of good brands / colors just not always cheap
