I know you can also expose your network to the internet which is what I believe I need but just want to confirm VPN is not what I want before ruling it out.

Most will just set up MFA in HA and then let a proxy handle SSL

yeah... I am thinking that is what I should do as well and just drop authentik. I've tried for a week to get it working and just can't.

stupid question since I'll be working in reverse. if I've already got the CF tunnel setup, is it as straight forward as just removing authentik via my NPM or do I need to open ports or some other steps?

Now at this point I've changed so much stuff my other apps no longer work across authentik and I'm ready to just give up on it

if you want to get authentik out of the equation you just proxy to HA ip:port instead of authentik in npm
