Installation type for ... what?
If you just want to use ZHA then see the #zigbee-archived channel, no need to install anything else
Do you mean I don't have to connect the conbee2 stick? Does the odroid hes a built-in zigbee antenna?
No you need the stick. But what are you trying to install
The conbee stik.
Then what are you downloading. The stick is a physical device. You're not downloading a physical device
When I install hardware on my windows machine it needs to install drivers for that device. So maybe my odroid needs a driver for this conbee stick?
No
No. That's what tinkerer said
Just plug in and set it up in ZHA
Ok. It works. But now something else. At this moment I am connected with ethernet cable, but i want to connect with wifi. I connected a Wifi adapter but this does no seem to work.
^^
So I am obliged to work with ethernet connected to my router?
If you're going to be smart, yes
That's not very convenient.
Is it possible or not?
Ok. How to.? I have the adapter connected via one of the usb ports. HA sees the device, but that's all.
HA isn't designed as something to run off wifi
Does it see it as a WiFi adapter?
You're going to have to think a bit
It's also a lot easier to help you if you provide actual details, and stop calling it "the adapter"
Wifi really isn't ideal for server software
Ok. In that case I have to find a solution to connect it with ethernet.
That's the ideal method
thanks for the info.
