As an alternative to HA built-in bluetooth tracking, the monitor script uses separate devices, usually Pi Zeroes, to track bluetooth devices.
It uses MQTT topics to relay device status messages to HA. See this forum thread for more.

Those two ssl_ lines more or less "enable" the ssl, and after a restart you will only be able to reach your frontend using https://

@sly kindle I've got a problem. I fixed my spacing in the file, and now http access no longer works (like you said). When I use https, then I get the warning, but I can get through. But now I need to enter my username/password. It's not taking my UN/PW combo, but I know it's right...so I did some digging for resetting a password, and when I try the command ha authentication reset --username "<username>" --password "<new PW>", I get a result of "Unknown Error, see logs"

@hoary storm The hostname will different between repositories. It is made up of the repo hash and the add-on name. Behind the scenes, it is actually the name of the Docker container.

I'm getting started with HA, deploying with Docker on my RPi and I want to start adding the plugins/addons/custom components but I'm unclear on how to add all that stuff to the docker setup.
Do most people just build a custom image with whatever addons they want just copied into the image? and rebuild the image for each HA upgrade?

In a docker run command Blake notes that the following should be included "--shm-size=512m" but i cant set this anywhere for the add on. could I make any necessary changes through the portainer add-on?

Hi guys,

I'm using the Mosquitto mqtt broker add-on. My goal is to have at least 1 Nodemcu that can be triggered in Home Assistant to water a plant. The trigger could be manually or on set intervals (3 days or smth like that).

I'm wondering what the best approach would be to do this.
