The moped sucked oil through the bearing from the gearing and since oil doesnt burn very well i had to push it home. And from the picture is clear why that happened

How much do the batteries deteriorate when left alone compared to used? Usually the metric is the number of recharges they can handle until they reach x percent of original capacity (90%?)

That might not be the most relevant metric when used like atx does

Is that $300 before or after you subtract out the electricity you'll need to use to charge the vehicle?

My parents were doing this cost/benefit analysis recently too.
"Car payment + electricity" needed to be less-than "no car payment + gas", and it just didn't work out for their use case

Battery wear is a combination of cycles and state of charge

And other factors but I won't go into

So using it wears it out. Using it until it's flat wears it out exponetially faster

But there's no such thing as a free lunch. But maybe a cheaper one than the ICE car.

If we had a cheap abundant source of hydrogen, they'd be the defacto standard by now
