never seen a flood light rgb controller. that one you linked looks to be rf so that could be controlled using a transmitter. maybe the sonoff rf bridge or the broadlink rm4 pro could control it

Dashcams also have some rather weird legal issues in Germany. Because they conflict with privacy protections.
Only allowed to push to persistent storage if there's a reason (or on manual command). Otherwise it has to overwrite its internal ring-buffer after I think 30min or so

Actually, if the AirTag is within close proximity to a phone that has a different Apple ID for an extended amount of time, it notifies the individual of the AirTag. Obviously, if you are tracking someone on the same Find My, they can see it so the tracking thing is a non-issue actually.

When it comes to using your phone to report the location of someone else’s AirTag. I assume on some level, they could eventually be hacked and use the Bluetooth to do harm. Also, if the AirTag is being used to track someone with a phone other than an iPhone, they will not be notified

I don’t think that is the case according to the Apple video but I do not have one. I mean, if you were tracking your remote, would you want it to beep every time you went to work? So, the technical explanation is that, when you feed it a start time and an end time, it converts that do decimal-hours

Problem: It only uses 2 decimal places of precision
