Looks like Roku has already switched to using DNS over HTTPS, so intercepting Port 53 does nothing to stop it from reaching its hard-coded resolvers

Android-based devices are a little easier to intercept. They tend to use DNS over TLS, which runs on its own port: 853.

You still can't redirect it without causing all DNS resolution on the client side to fail, but you can block it without blocking all 443 (HTTPS) traffic

Seeleys, Brivis, Daikin, Mitsubishi etc. all sell integrated BACnet controllers, a lot of them also come with Modbus, but for building automation BACnet is popular in Aus.

As an aside, my first internship I worked for a Building Automation company, doing electronic PCB design. We were fitting BACnet controllers in Westfield shopping centres.
