no, it's some three-letter acronym for the feedback loop in code that keeps control of stuff from varying wildly
usually used for heaters and stuff like that
so for example if it's got a setpoint and it's approaching that setpoint it knows to ramp down rather than heating until it hits the setpoint, seeing that it overruns the setpoint, cutting power to let it cool

I used to have skydrop. One feature I am missing on rainmachine is an alert before watering starts. Just FYI. But as far as capabilities and fine tuning got everything under the sun.

Fun, friend from a local LUG ordered some 1TB SSDs which were priced at too good to be true levels.
Turns out it was too good to be true. After 240G it started overwriting data. Seems the same trick that was being used with cheap ass USB sticks has been ported to SSD controllers.
