I had an older i3 mini ITX computer I was running plex on and it didn't have the balls to real time transcode
I was using Roku as a client and they can't do shit on their own

If you provision service accounts, you can take their full email, grant them access to the share/directory, then use those in rclone or whatever tool.
The quota is enforced per-uploader, not per-target.

When I get the NAS setup, what would be the best way to make something like this work locally on all my devices? i.e. Wife watches a show upstairs on kodi, I watch something downstairs.
I know Kodi can have user accounts.. would I just use a shared database for all the devices that have Kodi installed?
I guess that's the next part of my question as well, Kodi on the RPi was easy to setup, but I don't want to have like 6 RPi's laying around. Is this something I could just throw on a firestick?

I have a script that runs and sets a timer for 15 minutes after I start their food soaking and at the end of the 15 minutes it does a TTS alert that says "it's time to feed the dogs"
and turns all the lights on to where their crates are
