When I first played around with a centeral server a long long time ago I had a dual xeon 2680v2?(I forgoet the chip) with 128gb of ram that did VM's with graphics cards for my kids rooms, it worked, each room in the house has 4 cat6 drops, did HDMI over ethernet, usb of ethernet etc

But honestly its just easier setting parental controls on my kids PC's since they only run windows right now 😛

That is the 1 thing I actually like about windows

I have a very complicated problem with HA.
I have Home Assistant installed on VirtualBox, on a Windows Host, the Windows host gets internet through a mobile phone connected to the computer with USB tethering (the phone is connected to the 5Ghz band on the router).
When I connect the computer through Ethernet, HA detects all the devices in the network but when I connect through the DIY phone method i described above, HA doesn't detect any device in the network.
So..... What settings should I change on HA, computer or the mobile phone (i use as a wifi adapter) so HA detects all the devices in the network?

If I reload the page - it gets stuck on the HA logo and "Home assistant is a poroject by the open home foundation", doesn't show the "loading data" animation.
