I guess you are talking about restoring a backup to a new install? In that case, when you get to the step to set it up, you can provide a backup that restores all data that has been backed up. I used it on a Odroid XU4, then migrated it to a raspberry. And that was exactly how I did it.

Yeah, confirmed that this is the case, the Official MultiPAN firmware via the Sonoff Dongle Flasher isn't compatible with Z2M without an addon.

Just got the 8, so I'm formatting it because it's a used dell drive, with their type 2 protection stuff. Then I'll test it. If it passes, it's going on the shelf until I do the same for the other two 8s I have (or am getting, in the case of 1 of them). At the point of all 3 testing good, I'm creating a new media zpool with the 3 of them in raidz1 to replace the existing 3Tx4 pool I have now. Why am I downsizing the number of drives? Well... Because my hotswap bay holds 3 drives, not 4. The original pool was designed around a 4 drive layout of 4x1TBs which were all swapped out to 3T SAS over the course of a weekend..

Why did I go with SAS drives? Because 4x3 used enterprise SAS 3TB + a cheap HBA was actually cheaper than 4x3TB used enterprise SATA drives

I just received the Ecowitt WS90 today and set it up and noticed a super sharp increase in outdoor temp (+15 ℉ when I placed it there and it was in direct sunlight as it was in the evening sun/afternoon where I'm installing it). (85℉ and it say it was 100 ℉) So, I calibrated it against my closest weather station by subtracting the difference. This worked quite well until it went shady, then it dropped down 15 ℉ from the actual outside weather. I am getting a semi-permanent mount Wednesday (balcony mount) and before I go through the process of placing it in it's final location, is there a better way to place this? I understand that the sun will certainly heat up the unit, but I'd think it would have compensated for this? My ideal situation would be to not have to calibrate it. I am willing to accept a slight variance from the closest station as that would be expected, but not 15 degrees.

Just put a shade over it, and keep it out of direct sunlight. People always underestimate just how much heat is generated by direct sunlight. It's why southern (us) temps of 20 and 30F always feel so much colder than northern places at the same temps. Typically there's no sun in the southern areas to reach those air temps, but up north that'll be a beautiful sunny day, and keep you all feeling warm when it's on you.

I enjoy iseakis a decent bit (probably spelling that wrong), or fantasy anime in general I guess? It’s a lower cost to produce than live action so you get to see stories that otherwise would not have been put into a video format. I enjoy fantasy anime as an escape I guess

think ali had it for just over $300 US. "technically" it's viable with 2GB and it's a good price for the overall package. wall mount display, PC to host HA, wifi/lan/zigbee/zwave, external mappable buttons and a built in battery backup.

I just wouldn't want it with only 2GB. if it was 3GB I would thumbs up it even if it was the equivalent of a RPI3B+
