I think starting on the pros/cons of different HA platform options? After that installation/setup for each, then maybe UI basics and general terminology, and then adding devices and integrations? I personally have most stuff integrated (although google/nest stuff will need oh so much more research), i spent a full 2 days turning an old fire tablet into a hub, and I made a decent looking dashboard for the fire tablet using mushroom themes. Next on my list is learning wth yamls are and how to add them while I figure out why nothing works. I feel like most things would be so much easier if I wasn't following directions blindly and actually knew what did what and why.

Everything's pretty much automated on its own but I hate having to use multiple apps for different things ESPECIALLY when they're owned by the same company (google/nest). don't flight tell you the general flight time and include the time zone diffrences etc

realistically you could create a table that takes your current location and estimates the time back to point a constantly and then use that data against appointment times and have HA alert you

even more than point a, you could know how long you are away from multiple locations by travel at a glimpse at any point lol

that way you can remind yourself that you are always closer to texas

It does. Coordinators coordinate routing devices. End devices connect to the router devices. The coordinators job is exactly that: Coordinating routing devices and determining best path to an end device.

I have had an issue with one TR sensor that wouldn't update, but it was locked in an "already updating" state. I either had to pull the batteries or reset it to get it to fix itself.

But it doesn't sound like thats whats exactly happening to you.
