I have an outdoor WiFi AP with a directional antenna, and despite best efforts to point it downhill to only cover my properly, and turn down the 2.4G transmit power to avoid spill, it appears you catch the odd beacon frame if you're standing at the bus stop two streets over on the other side of the valley.

the problem with that is they move too fast

google earth now updates aerials more than once a year so I can glance at those for total area look but what I needed the drone for was closer

when I get more comfortable with it I plan to fly below the tree line in some spots

but I wouldn't mind in general covering a part, swapping batteries then covering another ect for that route/waypoint stuff

the bundle i got came with two batteries and I can just barely get a looksy using both, may have to buy a 3rd lol
