👋 Hello, everyone! I'd thought I'd quickly introduce myself as the "new" member. My name is "RJ", aka "The Coffee Muse" and I'm from the USA. I just discovered Home Assistant out of necessity when my cloud based "smart thermostat" became "not smart". The device manufacturer decided to shutdown the cloud service and kill off their app a couple weeks ago. I decided that the replacement must be locally controlled only. After some research, I've settled on Home Assistant (running on a VM) and a Z-Wave based thermostat. I'm now starting my journey into Home Assistant.
