I was walking my dog at park today around 4:45PM and witnessed a man (presumably guy based on public records) beat his dog in front of me.

The dog had gotten loose and ran outside his backyard towards the park (his gate was left open). He was able to get the dog and then proceeded to grumble bad dog to it while he walked parallel to me behind a set of low bushes. After 100ft or so he turned (while still visible to me) and began hitting the dog while yelling and cursing at it. I yelled at him to stop and told him "don't ever do that again you POS". Instead of responding, he turned his back to me and cowered away between the houses towards the front of his mansion.

Guys, this dog was a tiny long haired wiener dog, he did not do anything wrong and even if he did it is unacceptable what I witnessed.

I have reported this to the Police but based on how the conversation went, I don't believe there will be any charges filed unless there is some video proof or a history of documented abuse. I am posting this for two reasons- firstly, because this piece of crap needs to be held accountable for his actions and at the very least the community should know the type of person he is. Second, I post this because I hope that it inspires others to speak up and report it instead of just hoping someone else does or *he gets his eventually*.

I went back to the park get a picture of his house to confirm I had the right address before reporting it to the police, so pic attached shows his gate still open after him assaulting his dog for running out the gate.

If straight out 110V light, your plan is golden. Transformer/isolated secondary/ low voltage and GFCI trigger capability is beyond me. Never looked into it. So I would highly recommend getting professional advice

I've only ever heard of two kinds of hot water recirculating systems. one where there is a pump at each end point and another where there is only one pump at the source

The pylitterbot integration from @serene gust (which is fantastic), reports that the "latest" version is older than what I have installed.
