#Ahsoka

Star Wars fans do a great job of being unable to not like something without having to find some logic to justify it.
Cal also stopped the blade from going too deep
Like if it's stupid for any reason it's cause that's like the only way they do damage in fights and it's been extremely hit or miss.
I liked how in Visions the one dude had like a slight cut on his neck and that took him down, I wish we saw more of that.
She could’ve finished it if she moved the blade right, yeah
Either precise stuff or just more variety in flesh wounds
My biggest issue with these stomach stabs is there has been no impact
It's clear Liam Neeson had something hit his stomach in TPM, but these others look fake af
In any case at most it's just funny
I will agree there, this time especially it looked kinda goofy
I mean, most kills with a lightsaber have been explicitly against vital spots. Even with qui gon when he was stabbed in tbe stomach he survived for several minutes after the fact
His probably hit the spine too
Yeah usually it's like full on beheadings and shit
Which hey it's more effective
Again the only "complaint" I'd see is it's all a bit repetitive and not a very creative use of the weapon
Laughs in magnaguard
Ahsoka castrates Baylon
I can only remember two dudes dying from a straight up stab, the mando guy anakin killed and one of the guards in tlj, and both got stabbed through the mid chest/heart
Aside from qui gon
I thought HKs were meant to be like the step up from Assassin Droids, but man, they're worse
Damn this space economy
Why didn't they just hire some IG-100s instead?
In legends, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time a HK has shown up in canon
Also probably not fair to base their abilities off fights against one of the most elite jedis in recent history and a well trained mandalorian
Oh right I forgot they were a legends thing
They were in the Ahsoka Mando ep in season 2
So technically not wrong
I'm basing it off Sabine defeating one
Toys
Dude just let her grab his gun and shoot his foot
They do kinda feel like cannon fodder, but you know action scene gotta action scene
Commandos and magnaguards were never topped, man
Lotta fucking evil droids in survivor
I wanna play it, but that pushed it from not actively seeking to wanting to play soon
The thing that's the weirdest is the HKs were actually jumping and flipping and shooting like BXs in Mando, but now they just walk
Do it for her
I won't lie, she was literally my first thought when I realized there were other reasons I wanted to play the game
I also surprisingly haven't been spoiled for the game yet
No. Do it for Caij
Honest to god after survivor I really want a game where she's playable
Good spin off idea
Maybe DLC
No fuck you, do it for turgle. How can you deny this beautiful thing
Yeah but I don’t want to fuck turgle. He’s too pure
Coward
Oh
The cooler cad bane fr
Haven't finished Survivor
The fps drops and bugs were driving me insane
Cal really saw a pasty Force user and went no way is he evil 💀
I shouldn't have mentioned anything
Oh whoops
Now I know things that I could've gone in blind on
I mean, he was in the trailers
You say this like I watch trailers
Anyway, on a more positive note, I appreciated seeing mo-capped droid battles again
The difference between fully CG droids and these were night and day
The fluidity of their movements
Lothcat was peak
The unsung hero
Saved Sabine
I still can't tell if it was the white lothcat or just a random one
I forgot they don’t release the soundtrack until mid season or afterwards these days
They split it in half and release one for 4 episodes
We should storm lucasfilm. I need the song sabine was listening too
Remember when every Mando ep had a soundtrack in season 1?
We were so spoiled
It was mentioned before. But I love the fact the credits uses both ahsoka and sabine theme
Yeah, Kiner getting to continue his score is chef's kiss
You know that shit is gonna be popping when Thrawn appears and his chime starts playing
Yeah
Honest yeah, im glad they didn't ditch the rebels themes. Give me hope they'll use thrawn theme
Not going to lie I was selfishly hoping Thrawn would appear in these first two episodes
I already know we're not going to get enough of him this season since we've barely scratched the main plot
I assume most of the trailer footage is from the first 3 episodes. So we could actually get him by 5 or 6
Maybe the end of 4
He'll still have to share screen time then though 😭
#Ahsoka
Sabine’s intro remixed with “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys
1991
327
Let’s face it here though his role in this show is just to be set up towards the Mandoverse movie
Like Kang in Quantumania
Hopefully better than that but yes
Not really
It's years away still, Ahsoka will most likely get one or two more seasons before then
I am really hoping it’s just one
Limited series
I could see them folding everything into mando s4 then going straight into dave movie
Just wait the show is gonna end with a Thrawn Cliffhanger
Telling you now
Yeah, but that doesn't mean another season can't happen
No but it means he’s here for set up

I don’t expect any kind of villain resolution with his character
Honestly If we get another season I'd hope it just ditches ahsoka and becomes the ezra and sabine show
It's all set up for the film
Mando, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew
I really don't see how it matters really
MANDOVERSE
We actually need a bobf s2 to tie that in somehow
But that also seems less likely each day
TBOBF was originally meant to be a s3 arc, so not too surprising a second season hasn't come
But I wouldn't mind another
Kinda curious to see what Tem gets going
Man literally said he was visiting Lucasfilm the other month to see what was going on, and to make sure they don't forget about him and Boba Fett
I want it, but I legit assume it'll just get folded into mando s4
I also wonder if tem actually going to be in this, you can't do really do this rebels reunion without rex. But considering he wasn't called for mando, despite being put on standby is kinds considering
Like how Rangers of the New Republic got folded into Mando S3
I'm pretty sure that was just nuked from orbit with no traces left
I mean Mando is (indirectly) serving the New Republic
Isn't Temuera on the casting list?
For Ahsoka?
I mean there was a rumor that ||Temuera Morrison is playing Captain Rex in Ahsoka||
There were leaks, but idk if we ever got anything substantial
It can add context sure, but to be comparable it would need to be show that takes place during the ST, preferably one year before TFA and the year leading to TROS
God, seeing Tem as Rex would go so hard. I’d imagine if he is in this, he’s not a big presence cause you know he’s really old at this time so probably retired or smth
But hey maybe he still has some kick left
They’ll old man Cap him
He served on Endor
Unless they bullshit a way for Rex to have his age reversed or slowed down a bit
Which I would be okay with lol
Also i just realised, where the fucks jacen
Hera just fucking leaving her son
Just seeing him with the beard and the armour in live action would be all I’d need, him actually fighting would just be a bonus
You can also kinda see his head in one of the trailers
I'm just wondering who hera left him with
Uncle Zeb
Hera has to have her son meet her other son
Oh that’s true. They didn’t meet
I definitely head canon that Uncles Zeb and Kallus are taking him bowling right now
He’s gotta meet his big bro
Awww they would look so cute together
Honestly I'll be sad if zeb and kallus aren't boyfriend
They're into each other
“Mom! Look what uncle Zeb gave me!”
“Jacen Jarrus you put that rifle down RIGHT NOW!”
They kissed off screen at Lira San
One sign they're gay for each other: they like each other
syndulla*
Being cramped in an escape pod does wonders to the mind
They should add a hyphen to his name Jacen Jarrus-Syndulla
I couldn’t remember if she took his last name. She probably wouldn’t tbh
I feel like jacen dume syndulla would work better
Ooh that sounds nice
Sabine in the epilogue calls him Jacen Syndulla
I swear to god if we don’t see her talk to him about Kanan, I’ll flip an orphanage
Same
Watch the show just ignore his existence
I'd like to trunks she'd talk to him about ezra and bring kanan up that way
I find it funny the people who haven't watched Rebels have no idea who that tall guy behind Hera on the mural is
Also sabine cutting her hair directly called back the the scene where kanan does his. So he's clearly on the writes mind. Plus the mural
Or who the purple fuck is
They met him in Mandalorian
Yeah but he wasn't named and looks different enough from the image
Yeah... We better get Zeb and Kallus in this
I can't imagine them creating a CG model for Zeb just for a cameo in Mandalorian
Like idk if I'd assume these are the same people If I didn't know before hand
It's criminal that he's barely in season 4
He and Rex both should've went to Lothal with the Ghost crew
I can understand the logic with kallus, he's fresh from defecting and the empire would have a recent image of him. Rex 100% could have gone
Rex...
The guy who face is an exact replica of people who still work in the Empire? (purge troopers)
He's old enough that he can pass as a random old guy
I imagine they have images of older clones
Wait the purge troopers are clones?
Yes
Early ones were the last batch. After that its just elite recruits
Ohhhh
Okay cause I was about to say I thought they blew up the facility and data and shit
Yeah, the comics where you learn they are clones takes place before Kamino is destroyed
Bad batch has actually made it so they're kinda making new clones, despite kamino being gone. Which could tie into the purge troopers
Anyways point is, if Kallus' face is a problem, so to would be a literal clone
Kallus would be able to blend in if he shaved, and I would not force him to do that
But also again, rex is old as fuck. He can pass as a random old guy, and I'm pretty sure he does at various points in rebels
He can use Superman logic and wear glasses
I mean he is literally a random old dude in rotj
I love that retcon
Man I want to see luke and rex interact so bad
Fuck it, they can have luke in this show as long as he only talks to rex then leaves
And it's only off screen Mark Hamill
We see the back of Luke's head as he talks to Rex
"wow my dad fought with you?" "yep" credits roll
This is a story that would be strange if Luke didn't show up
Not necessarily this season though
Wish list:
Zeb and kallus sex scene
Rex and luke talking at least once
Chopper eating a child
Oh man, I forgot how goofy mural Zeb looking
He legitimately looks worse in the ahsoka version
So my prediction is that the civilization from the other Galaxy is the Grysk
After Chop pukes him up
Just there was no need for him to be in the first two episodes
Can't be the Grysk
They serve no purpose in this story, and Thrawn is fighting them in the books atm
I was actually thinking they'd probably bullshit the yuuzhan vong into this, then I remember the grysk are basically just a toned down version of them
Also he won't be looking Half Shrek anymore it seems
They're isn't a current thrawn book though
Ascendancy a prequel
Ayo where did this goofy aah child come from
Ain't no way he would look like that with Kanan and Hera's genes
Well Blaze, when a Jedi and a twilek love each other
I never understand why they have him massive ears. The green hair fine. But why the ears
Rebels artstyle is just plain weird
Is this a commentary on the French
Well no more green hair so
He dyed it
Lmao
Better design, looks more like his dad
Sabine got banned from babysitting
I'd love if that's the canon explanation for the green hair
Even his eyebrows are dyed💀💀
Honestly I assume they just didn't think it through, and went of hera skin and lekku. Which are both green
I love how all the other transitions to live action are extemely faithful and then they saw Jacen's design and went lol no
I can't really blame them, jacen was a interpieces abomination
I assume they also just didn't want to dye a kids hair green and thought a wig would be too difficult for them to wear for long periods of time
And jacen hair colour didn't even match hera green
With Hera having green contacts, I still don't get why Saw and Bo don't have accurate eye colors in live action
Now we get to see if they kept the ears or not lmao
Just a Chimp from a zoo in a wig 😭
I am just learning of this ear thing now, that’s something alright lol
I don't think star wars is ready to address interspeices fucking.
They should do what the garrus romance does in mass effect though and dedicate an entire book to how two characters are gonna fuck and how their child will end up looking
I wonder like how crazy you can get with interspecies breeding

Ahsoka got a glow down, but Sabine a massive glow up
Lucasfilm are clearly coward and will never explore this in any meaningful detail
The glow down for ahsoke does seem to be for an arc though. Dave talked a lot about how he wants to take ahsoka from being gandalf the gray, to gandalf the white
He just didn't have the time back then, so skipped the arc. But he's doing it now
Kinda weird though when you think about it, since Gandalf only became a white after dying
Is this supposed to be the same scene 😭
I assume it'll be like a metaphorical death, where she accepts her past and moves on to being something greater
Why would they not do the white attire
Because of an arc
Why wouldn’t it be?
Dave wants to build her to the point where she can wear the white robes
That's really it
Hilarious
Yeah, so why the arc now from grey to white, when the events of the death made the change
Her facing Vader should've been the death of the Old Ahsoka is what I'm saying
It's literally beat for beat the same scene.
Now to answer the question is she a Jedi
Or is she not a Jedi
Or is she a Jedi
Or is she not a Jedi
I'm no Jedi but I am kind of but I am not lol
Well, its clearly been changed slightly to where she's still running from her past and anakin. And can't move on to become gandalf the white until she's accepted everything that happened and who she is
She was a Jedi, but she died
So now just a Je
She faced vader. But she never truly came to terms with it
The same way obi wan accepted the fact anakin was gone
So Thrawn has an Inquisitor, a witch, two dark Jedi. You think Ezra is going to be on team Thrawn when we meet him?
Somehow... Sauron returned
I assume ezra just locked up somewhere or immediately jumped ship once they got out of hyperspace
It was a possibility when we thought Thrawn was by himself, but since he has other Force users to fill that gap... unlikely
It'd be funny if Ezra was just dead the whole time
Let's assume the Grysk is involved though, would Ezra want to help stop them?
Thrawn actually apologized to Ezra for trying to kill him numerous times
They made up
and now get Coffee every tuesday
They're engaged
I hope his skeleton was left in a funny pose
Eman Esfandi getting cast to play a dead character: 👁️👄👁️
Ezra's skeleton still calling Sabine sister, friend zoned even in death
Force ghost
Thrawn became Ezra's apprentice
He is actually force sensitive
According to Fox, apparently his species is when they're little or something
So who knows
Maybe he's special
But that's just a theory
A game theory
Some are when they're young
Luke showing up and seeing all these potential students
I wanna fucking die
Ezra and Thrawn plus Sabine and Ashoka come together and team up to fight the two Evil Jedi
Like The Incredibles
Thrawn and Ezra were the Knights of Ren the whole time
Chiss do have Skywalker's who use the Force to travel space if I remember the books
I get the feeling Baylan might have turned good if Ray was still around
He will die in typical lightsaber antagonist fashion
Right and to be clear I’m not agreeing with the article itself. Just saying the idea of Filoni being a “continuity Doctor” doesn’t make sense to me given his history lol
He will realize there is still good in him
I guess it really depends. I can see him siding with thrawn to stop them. But also all they have is a damaged Chimaera. They ain't fighting in that. Though I do assume its been fixed and will be put in the hyperion ring
and then get offed
Shin dies of sadness
Classic StarWars 101
They're only children though, and I'm pretty sure they lose their connection to the force once they reach adulthood
It was a whole thing where skywalkers are largely necessary to travel the unknowns regions. But there's a limited amount and they have a time limit
Like the hit film Baby Geniuses
It's been a while since I read the canon Thrawn trilogy so I had to dust cobwebs from my brain to get that information
My brain is an archive for useless knowledge
So, like do you think the Filoni film will have a Snoke scene, or one of the shows?
They already teased him coming
You might even call it an archive of our own
Did you know that Indiana Jones is playable in Lego StarWars the Complete Saga
Like what are you supposed to do with that knowledge
Play as him
Life is good yesterday I had Falafel
I hate the ideas of Ezra being on the dark side when they find him.
Ezra already had his arc of almost falling to the dark, he rejected the dark and selfishness again and again. And he sacrificed himself out of our selflessness and love. I would not be happy if he fell to the dark
Watch me win jeopardy on that exact question
He's gonna be mind wiped
Reprogrammed like a Terminator or something
"MUST. KILL. FRIENDS!!!"
They put ezra in the mind flayer
“I have a new name. Call me..Ezra Miller”
Tbf though, that arc was rushed and lasted like five episodes
Okay hear me out Evil Yoda Clone
They could do it again but properly
Thank god someone else thinks that too
I can just imagine this fucker in front of ezra, while they stuff him in the mind flayer
I think it was less so rushed and not given as much focus as one might think, at least for me
You think Pershing gonna be uploaded into a clone body for a future show?
Ezra I think we are now the Last of Us
Ezra put in Pershing's body, and Gideon in Ezra's
Ezra, we have bring the rise of Skywalker
I legit love though how the new Republic fucking kept the empire torture devices and were like "on low settings these things are perfectly harmless" then never put a fucking limiter on it
I hope they bring back that mochi guy that killed rey's parents
Also leave it unguarded
What are we now some kind of Resistance? Resists all over the place
Ochi lol
It’s resistin time
Thrawn loses cause of Ochi probably
Somehow Yaddle returned...
You know, I actually wanted to sleep early tonight. But then all this shit happened and I've ended up staying awake until close to 5 again
"Ashoka.... these are your first steps to becoming a master podracer"
Honestly I wouldn't mind them returning
I wonder how they get bitches. Like do they share or is it like a orgy situation
Dexter Jettster will return in Mandalorian Ashoka Boba Fett Skeleton Crew: Thrawn Griddy Boogaloo & Knuckles
Sharing is caring
“You were always like a sister to me” Those guys to Sabine, Ezra shippers: “I don’t care what galaxy you’re from, that’s gotta hurt!”
That line caused mass suicide watch lol
Okay but it actually makes no sense, ezra was crushing on her hard in season 1&2 and they both flirted with each other a fuck ton in 3 and 4
Chopper we do not grant you the rank of Master War Criminal
Stepsister
Time for Chop-Fu
I wish I was him
Huyang is in a weird spot where he moves well, but feels too stiff still
also after rewatching rebels. I really love how hera and kanan constantly referred to ezra and sabine as their kids. Like even beyond them just being young.
Though I think zeb was also included sometimes
Zeb was definitely the uncle
He gives off Mad Uncle vibes
Zeb kinda has the vibe of the uncle who acts more like the older brother
He's the uncle that sleeps on Kanan's couch
I have to be at work at 5 Am so bed for me too
True, those HKs could do with some blacksmithing
Babu Frik should just be in every Star Wars show
Embo too
Babu Frik and Embo buddy comedy

George Lucas cried while watching
Star Wars fanbase united
I think Ahsoka suffers from what's been prevalent with most of these shows (besides Andor) which is hit or miss acting with some dull visuals and direction
And the visuals are mainly regarding the colour grading. There's some wonderful ship and location design
I can say I feel way more invested in the plot than something like Book of Boba Fett or even Mando, and I'm genuinely looking forward to the next episode. I'm not sure how non-Rebels fans will feel though
Also the score is wonderful. It elevates a lot of scenes that otherwise I think would fall really flat emotionally
Episode 1: This episode was amazing and wonderful. I was very happy when I saw Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren, and I hope Ahsoka and Sabine will manage to find Ezra Bridger. I didn't know that there was Morgan Elsbeth in The Mandalorian (Season 2).Ray Stevenson's and Ivanna Sakhno's performances as Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati were excellent and mesmerizing.
Episode 2:This episode is very interesting, especially the planet that I have seen in the previous Star Wars movie series, Corellia. What I like about this episode is the fight scene between Ahsoka and Marrok.
Morgan Elsbeth returns, having last been seen in "The Jedi". This episode reveals that Ahsoka captured her and turned her over to the New Republic.
A map that can reveal where Ezra and Thrawn are located that both factions want to find them is what would happen years later with the map to Luke Skywalker.
Sabine's haircut scene is reminiscent of Kanan's haircut in "Jedi Night".
Sabine's final visit to the mural of the Ghost crew is an almost shot-for-shot recreation of the final part of the epilogue of the Rebels series finale.
The episode title, "Toil and Trouble", references the famous Eye of Newt song performed by the witches of Macbeth.
I thought that Morgan Elsbeth was Michelle Yeoh lolz
Ezra is Snoke, right?
My parents who watched maybe a bit of The Clone Wars way back when it was new enjoyed the first episode of Ahsoka, but agree that it does get slow and everyone feels stoic
Watch this is gonna be some rando who dies immediately
Glup Shitto
Snoke and Bridger were born in the same year 19 BBY. Both have powerful Force capabilities. I don't think that Ezra is Snoke
As a non-Rebels fan (who still watched Rebels just cuz), I’m still way more invested in the first two episodes than I was with the premieres of Mando S3 and BOBF, it definitely suffers from the same problems as the rest of these. Andor set the bar so high with dialogue writing that this show feels like apes wrote it
I’d say I wasn’t really invested till episode 2 but that episode had me more invested than both the premieres of those shows you mentioned
@marble whale Why do you think that Ezra is Snoke? because until now we didn't know where Snoke received his Force training but he was not a sith.
Really the only thing that I can point to here that I just straight up hate is the visuals at times. Looks so fanfilmish in nature, very cheap
Like yeah Andor has better dialogue writing but also I can seperate it apart from something like this
To the point where it’s not really jarring to me
Do you think that he is the same as Ezra?
Yes
Looks like Ezra to me
Has two eyes
Does anyone here think that’s not Ezra? Genuine question
It’s so obviously true the answers are right there I’m afraid
It’s definitely Ezra. I read it online.
Consider, both of them are Star Wars characters
This may sound weird, but I was checking out Marrok's crotch the whole fight scene and there was definite bulge, so unlikely they'll end up being a chick... 🧐
You know, there's all these theories Marrok is really Barris Offee
Yogur Starwar
this is a good show
The best of all time
It's been years, they aren't doing anything with Barris again lol
Episode 2 watched
im surprised how good it is
when i heard "live action filoni show about ahsoka" I honesty wasn't expecting much.
But really I think this is an indication that this is where filoni's focus has been the whole time
im surprised they didn't show the ghost off already though
im glad they didnt. keep people waiting
they showed the phantom though which was cool
true yeah
maybe got a few haslab backers from that
👀 💦
maybe like 4 people
lol
wait what's haslab haha
oh sorry lol. A haslab is a crowdfunded project for a hasbro product (figures/replicas) thats only specially made for the people that support the project; so basically an item they couldn't sell in stores because it'd be too big/premium/expensive.
they've done things like Galactus from marvel before. And the razorcrest from mandalorian
really huge figures
they have one for the ghost atm to coincide with ahsoka releasing
and people really want it to get more support because the stretch goals for the project are getting figures of the ghost crew.
So far we have Hera and Ezra unlocked but we still need Kanan and Zeb.
oh that’s very cool, i wasn’t aware of this before
there's 2 weeks left on the project
hopefully we can meet all the tiers before then
i think when the ghost finally shows up in the show we should see a big spike in backers
It was in the first episode
wait when
In the hanger of home 1, it was visible with hera green squadron
ah dang i missed that
im sure it wont be long til we see it doing some sexy fighting
Anyway tidy, have you seen
ayyy there she is lmao
i had a feeling
she's gonna be a lv100 unlock again isnt she

Ya
fucks sake
Optimus was already a pain
also
also hope we get Hera and Sabine in the shop
that seems probable
Would also like the cool goth sith girl
Simping hours with Tidy
I really want hera and sabine. But I won't get my hopes up, considering we didn't get anything for mando s3 or Andor,
Maybe they can do 4 skins though. Hera, sabine, shin and baylan
Assuming we don't get thrawn or ezra
I do want to assume we got nothing for mando cause of the may the 4th event. But it's been a year since a show got a skin. I really want them, but I won't hold my breath
yeah fair. But idk Star wars skins are typically fairly popular. They do keep making new ones. So who knows
Maul, Anakin, Padme and the Clone Trooper all kinda came out of nowhere at once
My concern would be whether or not sabine and hera by themselves would be popular enough to justify. Like they're well liked. But they aren't even close to the ones we've gotten so far in the game
I'd kinda argue the same for Padme tbf
Eh, she's a main character in 3 films and still incredibly well known among even the most basic of fans
I think if Sabine has her helmet thats enough of a sale there to get a female mando playable
Hera might be a harder sell but Twileks are relatively popular. And I think the devs would have had to work out Ahsoka's lekku physics and could have an excuse to then apply that to Hera as well.
but thats speculative
no idea
either way, i assume they'll add ahsoka lightsaber to the game as a mythic
if we get sabine maybe they can add hers as well
Ahsoka boss?
would be cool to get Sabine in multiple styles to cover her rebels outfits as well
but thats pushing it probably
but that is like her whole thing
so
i think it'll come down to whether or not ahsoka gets her rebels/clone wars looks
yea
at the very least we could get rebels hera, since she has one design across all 4 seasons. and maybe 3/4 for sabine
She could be a level up pack, and the tokens are different pieces of armor from Rebels and Ahsoka
Like the Mando quests from Chapter 2
man imagine if for whatever reason they just make sabine entirely customizable
can change all her armour pieces and mix and match across the seasons
they'd never but that'd be so fun
But it'll sell
i kinda hope we find out tommorow. since they sometimes drop or tease collab skins in the gameplay trailer
like how the chapter 4 trailer had deku
i wish they'd release a season pass with skins i dont need again
lol
feels like i have to keep buyin em

That would've been goated
that would be insane
But they've already used the most iconic characters
yeah but star wars is known for it's glup shittos
you could still do plenty of stuff people would wanna see
An Aayla Secura skin would sell the pass alone.
the fact Chewie isn't already a skin but Krrsantan is

they could absolutely sell a Season pass entirely of star wars skins
there's enough stuff now
Paz Vizla, Greedo, Tusken Warriors, Ig-11, Hondo, Jar jar, Cobb Vanth, Cad Bane, Cal Kestis, Trilla Suduri, Rex, Revan, Scout Trooper, Dooku
B1 battle droids
I wanna play as space Timothy Olyphant
we could literally have an entire mando season with how many there are
When the Mando-verse movie comes out just a full season of Mando stuff
first skin can be a fully customizable mando that you progress throughout the season
Like the Kymera
i'd love that
Just collecting beskar and customizing a mando
final unlock being a jetpack backbling
anyway back to the show
sabine changing the Morai art piece on her armour to a purrgil hits hard. they legit all assume ezra dead 😭
YEAHHHHHH
You know, this might not be the 8th brother. The armour really close. But there's no clear damage on the saber from when a emitter was damaged and the whole thing split in two
Here are over sixty Star Wars easter eggs, references, and other connections I found in the first two episodes of Ahsoka!
This video was created during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, Star Wars Rebels and Ahsoka wouldn't exist. Learn more about the strike here: https://www.sag...
Well too be fair it could be a different saber
I mean the 2nd Sister was able to get a saber in Fallen Order after Cere took her original so could be a spare
Yeah but the saber also looks about as old as the armour, which assuming it's the 8th brother, would be the same set he had on malachor
It’s hilarious how out of place Ashoka is here
it looks like a photoshop
vader also looked out of place when he was in the battlepass
When a character states something so completely obvious to everyone in a scene for the sake of audience exposition. It's a silly, easy, and convenient trope.

Bro was looking at the Crotch for evidence
StarWars fans when someone wears a mask and they don’t know who it is
StarWars fans when someone doesn’t wear a mask and they still don’t know who it is
the crotch evidence also doesn't work, for a woman without her cock and balls is like an angel without their wings
It’s gonna be some random nobody who uses their saber is kinda bad ass and then dies before the finale
Hey okay so
Wasn't part of the whole thing with Rebels that Kanan and Ezra had to die (or at least be "gone" in some way) by the end in order to maintain continuity with Return of the Jedi, where Yoda says that Luke is the last Jedi, and that he's the last hope (apart from Leia?)
Guys I found the map
No, it was just so they weren't there for the original trilogy. Not to avoid the last jedi thing
I’d doesn’t make holograms tho
And we ignore Ahsoka because I guess she's not technically a Jedi so she... somehow couldn't possibly do anything... kind of a weak explanation, all considered, but... now we have Grogu and Cal Kestis (who might still be dead by Jedi) and we got Baylan who's I guess like some kind of ex-Jedi and his apprentice who I assume is force sensitive, as well as Sabine apparently--
Seems like Yoda might've forgotten a lot of people
Or he was you know, living in a swamp and couldn't check on jedi Facebook to see who was still alive
And then there's the idea that Rey is the last Jedi by her time, right...?
No?????
He can sense other Jedi?
But also not a Jedi
It’s complicated
Jedi identity crisis
Happens every now and then
How no?
That's never really been implied
Hasn't it? I mean he could definitely feel when all those Jedi died
what about with the movie titled "the last jedi"
Everybody felt order 66
Yeah because they're all connected through the force
Everythings connected through the force, that doesn't mean jedi know where everybody is at all time
Not necessarily, but Yoda seemed to be able to sense... you know, if there WERE others
Order 66 was a rare event nearly everyone in the order felt the mass death of the jedi
He'd never met Leia, he knew she existed because he could sense her
He was on the ship at the end of episode 3, obi wan clearly just told him
I dunno, it seems odd to me
💀
Yoda's supposed to be a wise master with sight beyond sight, it doesn't seem right that he might've just been mistaken oops
If obi wan informed him about luke, he obviously told him about leia. Fuck I'm pretty sure they were both on thay ship with them
YODA WAS THERE FOR THEIR BIRTH

I'm not saying he wasn't!
💀💀💀💀
I'm not considering people who've turned to the dark side, like obviously Vader ot the Inquisitors or anything
But it seems like there were a lot of other potential "hopes" out there, apart from Luke and Leia
It does take a bit away from the impact, would you agree?
It really doesn't, luke and leia to an extent were the only ones who could turn anakin back and thus defeat palpatine
Several jedi yoda had no idea existed doesn't take away from the films
But weren't Yoda and Obi-Wan saying "Luke, you've got to kill Vader, he's too far gone, you can't save him"?
I don't think that was their goal
And they were also wrong
Yeah true! I'm not saying Yoda can't be wrong, but... being able to reach out and feel how many other jedi/potential force sensitive people are out there doesn't seem like something he'd be mistaken about
yoda was telling luke what he needed to hear in that moment. luke was the only one in the position to actually defeat vader. he was effectively "the last jedi" in the moment.
HE CANT SENSE OTHER JEDI
that was always my interpretation anyway
I'll tell you what, I'm sensing some hostility here
The only jedi he knew existed were ahsoka, kanan and ezra and that's only because they were all in a temple with a deep connection to the force
I dunno, could he like... not have somehow gotten in touch with Ahsoka, or Cal, assuming he's still alive at that point...?
It's more that they know how to use force-sensitive kids as hyperspace navigators (because the unknown regions are really dangerous to navigate even using computers) but have no idea how to train them to retain their capabilities in adulthood. It's also a very non spiritual society which probably doesn't help. In the novels there is young Chiss woman navigator that is also considered a massive exception and probably on the brink of "losing her powers".
Well Kanan and Ezra were gone by that point, that's what I'm saying. They sorta had to be, in order to keep in line with canon?
Ezra and kanan were killed and sent of so there wasn't any active jedi at the time luke joined the rebellion. It has nothing to do with return of the jedi
Luke needed to be the only one because he's the only one in the original trilogy
I'm not trying to hate on the show or anything by the way, I'm enjoying it so far! I'm not one of those like... "aagh Disney's ruinin' muh star wars, everything new is bad!!@"
I'm not coming from a place of malace, just feeling like that one line from the OT is feeling less and less impactful as more Jedi who survived are introduced
Your argument also doesn't work, because immediately after obi wan says lukes their last hope, yoda says there's another. So like, idk why you're focusing on this one specific line of dialogue that yoda literally throws out the window
That's exactly what I'm saying? But it feels like we keep hearing about other Jedi who were alive at that point, which... makes him... you know, not the only one
No yeah but he's referring to Leia there, isn't he?
Or was that retconned to mean Ahsoka? Either way I guess nothing comes of it but
It's ambiguous at this point. But yes he probably meant Leia
It's still weird
He's 900+, some Jedi will fall through his remember cracks
Maybe this is a bit of a basic bitch take but I'm kind of excited to think that maybe we'll get to see Rex eventually too?
I saw a fan edit and I'm like aw man how cool would that be
I'm also wondering... I don't know if I'd like this, but it feels like it might be what's coming
The unnamed inquisitor with the cool helmet might be Ezra?
temuera skin tone not that light 😭
He got bleached
Calm your tits
What tits?
I mean that... looks like Temuera Morrison to me, I don't know
He is very white
Unless you mean me personally, in which case see my family comes from Ireland which is a part of the world where historically a majority of the population has tended to have pastier complexions and lots of freckles. I hear there's a whole science to it, apparently people tend to look similar to their parents? I was shocked when I found out
Nah for real though, it was awesome seeing Tem as the poor homeless clone in Obi-Wan
I'd be excited to see him again!
Eman Esfandi seems like perfect casting for Ezra from what we've seen so far
Even the voice sounds like him
Bro got sent to the genshin design team
It was really awesome seeing Zeb in Mando, I'm almost certain we'll probably end up seeing him again here, right?
That just seems like it's gotta happen
Hera, I dunno I'm not blown away by yet
She was one of my favorite characters in the show
But here, I'm kinda feeling what Greedo said, I'm not feing a lot of emotion from her
It’s Rexxing time Rexxes all over the place
Aw dude that was my favorite part of the Rex movie
Wasn't thrilled by Sabine getting stabbed and being fine, that is becoming kind if a trend in the new stuff haha
I'll stab you, and we'll see if you're fine
It wasn't even really treated as a big deal, it seemed like she was fine the next day and then it wasn't really addressed lol?
It was like sorry, you got a hole burned through your liver
Don't worry we put a bandaid on it, you'll be right as rain in an hour
Anyway can you do robot thing for us pls
Why would it be a big deal? Obi and Boba got worse injuries, and bacta treated them
Also, organ cloning exists and high tech robotics
Mf this a universe where Rey can heal a lethal wound with the force
There is no logic
Fennec got her stomach blown out and was fine
Maul got literally sliced in half without key organs and fell over a hundred feet and still came back
Fennec survived getting a new stomach in a non-sterile, sandy environment
That's true survival
Fennec is built different
Well that one I find a little easier to swallow, she actually got taken out of commission for a bit and had to get this whole like cyborg surgery. I can believe that! Still you're right, it's another example of someone surviving a mortal injury
Qui Gon got poked clean through the chest
Qui gon was left on the floor for 20. Sabine got immediate medical attention
Don't worry he turned into a robot spider because he was so angry (????)
We had this discussion last night
No yeah true, but it's not like they were bleeding out?
A hole burned through your liver is a hole burned through your liver
He at least has an excuse. The force and shit
Yeah, but it's a live-r
Survival was implied
I can't say I didn't find Maul surviving pretty ridiculous? But where they eventually went with it was amazing
That's like my favorite fight in all of star wars tbh
It is a universe where somehow Palpatine returns
Sabine still got medical care basically the second after she was stabbed, so like. Its not hard to believe. Its not like characters haven't been shot or stabbed before and walked around fine. Fuck kylo was shot by a goddamn bow cast and was walking a second later
The dead speak! Ok?
The dead should get some bitches
Still crazy to me how people are like they can't survive a stab, and yet somehow accept Palpatine's master is a literal necromancer
He pulled a Zaros from RuneScape
Where does he come from who knows? cloning snoke laboratory wishy washie dark side of the force nonsense
It is infact a gateway to abilities one would consider unnatural

Wait around and have people ominously refer to you for 10,000 years while you wait for some simple-minded fool to construct you a new body to possess so that you can return, only to peace out again like a couple years later
I'm more confused as to why there even were Snokes kept in a tank for a year plus, and Palpatine never thought to use them
The sequel trilogy makes me sad 😦
I really really loved The Force Awakens, I thought it was fantastic and some of the best star wars we've seen to date
But then The Last Jedi kinda just threw out everything and made it almost impossible for the story to continue from that point forward?
And The Rise of Skywalker tried its best to pick up the pieces but it was kinda doomed to fail
Ahsoka stole my lunch money 😢
Hey that's that woman from the Star Wars franchise
Girlboss
So inspired of them to make a show about the character from Fortnite
We'll make sure to add ahsoka doing the griddy to the server the second the update drops tomorrow
I think my main issue with the choreography is Marrok spinning on the ground for no reason all the time
Like, just walk backwards
Did you guys know that guy in the Boba Fett show spun around and it was bad
This mf became the center of conversation for a week
When a million other action shows also do it for no reason
Let's make several angry, lengthy videos about how Star Wars is dead and Kathleen Kennedy is the devil because I didn't like this scene
Think about it guys, we'll get millions of views on YouTube
Star Wars ruined Kathleen Kennedy
Honestly I don't doubt that, that poor woman
Kathleen Kenedy is the real temple of Doom!
which other shows?
Like the unnecessary gun flips? I can’t think specifically but I do remember seeing it even in movies like when Starlord circles around with his blaster in Guardians 3
I mean there's moments where the rule of cool takes the day in movies, right? We're there for the spectacle
no i mean the spin
I think I don't want Marrok to be anyone we've met before
Like obviously him being Ezra doesn't make sense because why would Ezra not be in the other Galaxy? He and Thrawn went to the same place
I think I'm just excited with the idea that Marrok is just a new character or simply the Eighth Brother from Malachor
Set after the fall of the Empire, "Ahsoka" follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Ahsoka, a Star Wars Original series, streaming now on Disney+.
Disney+ is the only place to stream your favorites from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. Access it all...

Well no, his name is Marrok.
Why would it be Ezra? He and Thrawn were on the same Star Destroyer, if Thrawn is in another Galaxy, so would Ezra
The theory in the fandom is that he's either Ezra or Starkiller
Some said Barris but um
Well I'll just let you all think about why Barris makes no sense lmao
Starkiller is the only that would work, but again I would prefer him to just be Marrok
I'd rather Starkiller get saved for a Vader-centric story
Don't introduce a character to said story if you cannot do them justice
This is the reason Filoni decided not to include him in Rebels
It's crazy that Star Wars fans can't just have cool mysterious dudes in masks without them having to be somebody
Remember when Phasma’s identity was revealed?
Agreed, I can understand wanting a fight between Starkiller and Ahsoka with both of them being his apprentices though
But eh
What I don't get is that they aren't even trying to play his identity off as a mystery. They keep saying his name in the show, it's literally Marrok
He's a cool ass Inquisitor with a helmet
And there can be a story there without him needing to be someone special. Why is he an Inquisitor? Why is there an Inquisitor still running around post ROTJ when it was assumed they all died before ANH. Are there still more Inquisitors?
The show already has two other evil force users who have much more of a focus in the story, they're not gonna shift that to this random guy all of a sudden. The dude is probably just some disposable goon who's only there for some cool lightsaber fights and to act as a foil to whatever adventure Ahsoka and the gang are on so Baylan and Shin's story doesn't get derailed for the sake of plot conflict
And that's perfectly fine
Like I said, he's a cool ass Inquisitor
With a helmet
And I think the fact that they're calling him Marrok instead Eighth Brother or whatever is purposeful so people don't speculate on his identity
Because it ain't important
Where'd we learn that name?
In the show lmao
Oh my God, Thrawn Lennon, what a name
Baylan says his name like three times
I literally just rewatched an hour ago, Baylan calls him Marrok multiple times lol
He tells Shin and I quote "Go to Corellia and assist Marrok"
One example is at the start of the second episode when Baylon tells Shin not to go cause Marrok can handle the shipyard job himself
Yeah
I want to see what Baylan and Shin are up to as characters. They actually seem interesting
If in the absurdly rare chance these neckbeard theorists are right and they just overshadow Baylan and Shin in the end to introduce fucking Starkiller or some other random glup shitto I'd be so done with keeping up with this franchise
Baylan and Shin don't seem evil to me
the less lucasfilm listens to the fandom the better
Morgan? She's evil
No, they're just mercs
They kill, but regrettably
Yeah I don't need Starkiller here lol
Marrok kinda is the dark horse of the three
No idea where his true loyalties lie
Plus Starkiller is like a really mid character that's basically just designed to be Star Wars Theory's wet dream
He's an Inquisitor, I assume his loyalties lie to the Empire and as such Thrawn
The Inquisitorius' loyalties were to Vader and The Emperor
With them both gone, they're kinda free agents now
Maybe Morgan just hired three lightsabers for hire then
Seems to me that it was originally just Baylan and Shin, and Marrok just fell into their group
Maybe, he does seem to hang out with them
An Inquisitor has got to make a living
I will say Marrok can hold his own a lot better than the other Inquisitors Ahsoka has ran into
Yeah, and you got to wonder.. if Marrok is this good, why was the 5th Brother next in line?
Must've been found later, since the 5th seemed to have been demoted by Rebels

I hope Kiner scores Filoni's movie
I imagine he will, he and Filoni seem to come as a package
But he deserves to work on a Star Wars movie
Shin Hati be all over my TikTok fyp and I'm living for it
Yeah I'm really liking her and Baylan
Ahsoka Episode 1 and Episode 2 are officially streaming now on Disney plus. Here we are taking a look at the first fight between Shin and Sabine from Episode 1.

I...
This fight goes hard
I love how Shin uses her cloak to distract
Baylan and Shin give me hardcore Legends vibes and I love their character designs
He did. It was called The Clone Wars.
I still hate how that movie was the introduction to Ahsoka’s character
I will say, Sabine’s introduction was perfect, that entire scene where we see her for the first time is my favourite scene in these two’s episodes
It got my non-rebelspilled mom hooked on her character so that’s saying a lot
I honestly think The Clone Wars movie is better than people give it credit for. Like, it’s fine overall.
Ahsoka didn’t come across as bratty as people exaggerate
The banter between the characters is so good
And it starts exploring those gray areas of war and how things are not all black and white
I honestly think people at the time were just “3D animated Star Wars bad” and then people parroted the sentiment against the movie over the years until they saw what else was done in the series as they got used to the animation style, and then simplified it to “Movie bad, series good”
In hindsight I think it's just that the people starting to get nostalgic about the prequels hated to be reminded that Anakin is kind of an impulsive dumbass that probably can't manage to project an image of responsibility and authority (ye know, a Jedi master image) in the eyes of a 14 year old kid that is probably more responsible than him.
Ahsoka is disappointed to be treated like a puppy given to a kid to teach him responsibility, because that's what she is in the end.
Grand Admiral Thrawn has gone missing in a completely different galaxy! Morgan Elsbeth plans to use some clues left behind by an ancient, extra-galactic civilization to find him. What civilization might that be? The Zeffo? Yuuzhan Vong? Rakatan? Kwa? Grysk? Let's discuss the possibilities!
This video was created during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTR...
I like the idea of this other galaxy being the home of the zeffo. They haven't been mentioned since fallen order, so it would be cool to see them again
The end credits give me lotr vibes
It would be great if they somehow accidentally happened to release the full score before the show ended
Loth Cat
Credit planet names
Didn’t know dathomir and yavin were so close
Same with Lothal and Mandalore
So like did Kanan and Hera adopt pick up Sabine on their way to lothal?

And plus she was off with her Bounty Hunting buddy, Ketsu Onyo
But I think she was on Lothal when she was recruited by Kanan
honestly in my opinion the problem with sabine getting stabbed in the first episode is that it’s the first episode, i didn’t think for a second they were gonna kill her off in the very first episode, and it’s also cause they’ve done the surviving getting impaled by a lightsaber thing three times in a row now, it’s getting ridiculous, at least with the last two you could say they were force users, sabine was literally said to have been less force sensitive than regular padawans, almost every other time star wars characters have survived something insane, they were either really powerful sith lords or either had advanced tech or something like that
I'm hoping we get some live-action TIE Defenders eventually
I was about to say its probably not likely, since the project was entirely nuked. But there were probably still a few on the Chimaera when ezra took it. So we could actually see some, assuming thrawn went through the efforts on maintaining them
finally watched lmao
im liking it so far
i am pregnant with kevin kiner’s children
Who are you inviting to the baby shower?
I wonder if Sabine is going to give Ezra the lightsaber, I mean it's her lightsaber now
No he will say go make me a sandwich and then force grab the saber
Epic Sexist style
grant admirable thong
Ezra and Thrawn start mansplaining to Ahsoka and Sabine
I’m like 99 percent positive he’s already gonna have a different saber by the time we see him next
in their time alone ezra has become a thrawncel
i bet thrawn is the andrew tate of star wars
It is retconned that Ezra actually picked up the remains of his saber on Malachor and rebuilt it and voila blaster saber hybrid back baby

morgan elsbeth is just a radical “free top G” mf
I hope he practiced the Force, it's not as flashy but him being able to dodge, weave, push etc. With just the Force, no lightsaber would be cool
Yes but this is also StarWars and if you don’t have a cool marketable lightsaber what’s the point of anything
Just give him the slingshot again and use that to sell toys
He just stopped using that throughout the course of the show, right?
He got a lightsaber, I would stop using a slingshot too lmao
I mean hey extra weapon
No guys he’s obviously the Inquistor who already has an established character name duh
you know whats strange
And back story in the Star Wars database lmao
Mutation
Marrok is Embo
WOOOOOOO YEAAAA BABYYYY
Kanan is a furry, he literally died and became his fursona
and its 2009 era clone wars animation underneath
Maybe the real Embo was the Marrok we met along the way
Dude I would give a 10 minute standing ovation if it was Embo
Real fans would be crying
she embo on my marrok(dog) til i marrok(inquisitor)
okay when marrok tossed his saber and began running did anyone else think he was gonna jump off a ledge and catch it and helicopter away
i was soooooo waiting for that to happen until the shuttle appeared
Maybe…
they’re cowards
We have to earn the helicopter
#HelicopterSaberForAhsokaFinale
I remember that dialogue completely
also this is a very bad thing
now that im enjoying the show
i kinda want the lego set
..
…..
ugh
The Ghost goes hard
Now make sure you mute this channel tomorrow
i want marrok and huyang!!! glup shitto and glup shitto ship!!!!!
So you don’t get a migraine like the rest of us
i should just keep watching the episodes like 3 days late

I like how Marrok is actually competent
I will say while we didn’t get helicopter saber, I am happy that we got the inquisitor saber throw sound in live action
wasnt that in kenobi
Oh was it? I don’t remember lmao
At the end before Ahsoka pushes Marrok, she tries to cut his hilt and he lowers to counter it which is dope
I don't think they used the correct sound effect
crazy cuz in rebels u could just stick two sabers between the hilt for like 7 seconds and literally the most imposing inquisitor would just sit there like “guh- guh whuh???”
crazy this guy even puts up a fight 💀
live grand inquisitor reaction
Marrok should've been the Grand Inquisitor
he takes off his helmet to reveal a comically large forehead
Now you should catch up on chat lore there was a guy who was deliberately looking at Marrok’s crotch and observing it during the fight scene to tell which gender they were
The Grand Inquisitor is Snoke guys
no way
thats awesome
MARROK BULGE CONSPIRACY
This was his character development, he now knows to stop people from cutting his hilt
I hate how that became a common way for Inquistors to go out after Kanan did it
Kanan vs Grand inquisitor though, that fight I have Kevin Kiner's score memorized in my head lol
Kanan faces off and duels the Grand Inquisitor for the final time, taken from the 1.5 hour film cut in this Star Wars: Rebels Edit project - "Fire Across the Galaxy Film Cut". The duel has been cut down for this youtube sample to only show you the fight itself, but the original episode content remains intact in the full edit.
13 film cuts, 21 s...
Literally I have this entire fight memorized lol
Such a shame that his character ended here
Kevin Kiner was on absolute crack scoring that fight
Nothing says more can't be made when Thrawn returns, or Palleon had a copy of his plans
Idk
It would also help show the evolution into the First Order TIE fighter which are, for all intents and purposes, TIE Defenders
I'm really thinking Filoni's movie is going to act more as a series finale to Ahsoka than anything
Like yeah, sure Din and Grogu will probably be in it, but I'm doubting that it will feel like an ending to Mandalorian, Skeleton Crew, BOBF etc.
Yeah it feels to me like TBOBF is just being left behind, and I can’t really imagine Skeleton Crew tying into all this too much. Maybe just to that pirate episode of Mando.
What if it turns out the Filoni movie is just a Luke Jedi Academy movie? After all the Heir to the Empire stuff wraps in Ahsoka or something?
I’m 99% sure I’m wrong but the thought just came
I think Ahsoka is going to be multiple seasons and the movie will act as the finale to the show
Similar things have been done before, for example Lilo and Stitch the Series ended with a movie
Kim Possible was supposed to end with a movie
What’s interesting is those weren’t theatrical whereas this would be
True, however it's also not the first time such a thing has happened either, for example where neither High School Musical 1 or 2 were theatrical, HSM3 was
Here's an article that has other examples of TV shows that ended with movies
Star Trek The Original Series and Next Generation are big examples
I would also argue they are the two closest examples to what I'm describing regarding Ahsoka
Wrath of Kahn in particular expects that you watched the Kahn episode of TOS
i think a bigger barrier with this in particular is that you basically need to have seen like 3 shows to understand everything
which for avid star wars fans is no problem
but to larger audiences they’re really gonna have to either explain things really well or just sell it like crazy 😭
Eh if Star Trek can make it work, remember Star Trek Generations kind of expects you to have watched, 7 seasons of TNG, six movies, and 3 seasons of TOS
That's if you want the best experience, but you can theoretically just go into it and have a solid enough time
fair
and i guess most ppl wont care all that much ab any intricacies in the lore and whatnot
Besides Mandalorian is pretty mainstream
By extension Ahsoka is going to be mainstream as well
Granted there's still the elephants in the room known as TCW and Rebels
But they're making it work so far
The movie will like, almost definitely have an opening crawl to help smooth over some of it too.
And most of the general audience just needs to know "blue guy, bad" "Mandalorians good, Orange girl, and blue buzzcut, Jedi"
I do like that they went the Solo route of trying an opening crawl but in a different style
Throwback to when Obi-Wan Kenobi opened with a recap of the prequel trilogy lmao
Too bad they can't get Tom Kane to do that
Yeah the newsreels in TCW were peak
I liked to imagine it was just Yularen yelling at himself in the mirror to remind himself of what’s going on
More like Yellaren

This is a Loth-cat appreciation post. #Lothcaturday
The first two episodes of #Ahsoka, a Star Wars Original series, are now streaming on @DisneyPlus.
I want a Loth Cat
They defiantly look better in Ahsoka
Practical>>>>CGI
I mean the design too
the mando design is closer to how they look in rebels. ahsoka made them overall more cute
Loth cat
Loth cat
its straight up just a design thing, the one in ahsoka is cgi half the time too lmao
and the cgi in mando is just as good
lowkey sometimes the cg can get across some of the expressions better
i do kinda wish star wars would stop doing practical all the time. like its cool to see. but when its clearly limiting what's possible, you should stop. like with grogu in season 2 onwards
the loth cat in ahsoka is a decent mix though
yeah i always say they keep doing practical for the sake of it even if it isnt the best choice
huyang is pretty good tho
i do hope we see him looking a bit more feral with all his extra arms tho lmao
not as expressive as he was in the clone wars though. which is a shame
This video is sponsored by Loth cat
crazy how animation suits the originally animated character better
good thing this show isnt animated tho right guys
huyang really would have come off better if he was a legit mix of CG and practical, like IG was in mando s1
left behind? it ended
Is he not?
he seems at least mostly practical
with cg just used to clean up the rough edges, probably remove the performer etc
i imagine they used a similar technique to 3po in phantom menace
Oh I thought he was just an animatronic puppet with an user behind the camera
I love his eyes
It's probably going to be the only Mandoverse show not to get two seasons
thankfully
Besides Rangers of the New Republic, which didn't even make it to season 1
Rippity dippity
