Yep
The guy’s acting chops in the episode genuinely surprised me
He is mall cop incarnate
I do think he did realize what he was doing but at that point it really didn’t matter
Props to Kyle Soller genuinely
If he hadn’t channeled all of his held in channeled rage at Andor he would have made it out alive 😭

There’s something eerily unsettling about seeing the comedic jokey fascist dude actually losing his marbles
Bro went straight to physical violence towards his girlfriend after feeling slighted
Average conservative boyfriend
💀
I am excited to see what they do with Deedra in the final arc
This definitely puts her in a quite interesting position
She’s probably extremely mentally unstable
Just a tad
You just hate a successful woman
Girl boss
I’m glad the droid was left behind. He be too emo.
Boooo
Bix and B2 Spin Off series
She’s not a horse!
Mon realized after Return of the Jedi that the pixie haircut was not it
It’s funny how people are going crazy about the Bail recast because “you’d be going from Smits to Bratt to Smits” when we already have Genevieve to what’s her face to Genevieve
There’s like a fuck ton of recasts anyway
Geneveive has pretty consistently played mothma since rots though. It's a kinda hard companion. Especially since her role is pretty minimal in the ot
Like you only get one instance of her not being mothma
But its actually fucking wild that they had a actor who literally looks like mark and sounds like luke would.
Then just threw a shitty ai deepfake on him that barely even looked or sounded like mark
Like bro this is literally luke skywalker
The real lesson is you can’t recast Harrison ford. Other people it’s possible
I have a friend who five years ago said he wouldn’t wanna see Luke go from Hamill to someone else to Hamill in the timeline, or Han go from Ehrenreich to Ford to Ehrenreich to Ford because “continuity”
I thought Ehrenreich did a great job as a younger Han who has yet to become more cynical
Also Dial of Destiny should’ve recast Indy for the intro. They had Ingruber right there
The wonders of beard dye and anti aging cream
I don't mind the stuff in dial of destiny cause it was still Harrison there mostly and it was pretty short overall.
But extended scenes like with Luke should just be a full recast
I have yet to see any onscreen actor get ford right. Only Troy’s voice
I think Ehrenreich at least was able to capture the vibe and tone of han. Even if he couldn't perfectly mirror ford
Okay and Abed
At least his lando movie still on the table
Is that still happening? I don’t even know anymore if it’s a movie or show
Its a movie.
The show version was cancelled. Which lead to people getting confused when the director started talking about lando no longer happening
Basically it's on the shelf until everybody schedules clear up.
Which is basically the same for taika film.
And maybe Ryan's. But that's at like, the very back of the shelf
Aww I would've preferred a show
and even then he throws away any hope at redemption because he’s so unable to take accountability for his role in what’s unfolding around him that the moment he sees andor it just reaffirms all his delusional beliefs from the past several years and he immediately has the perfect thing to shift the blame
such good writing
im also glad he didnt get a redemption
My take is that he is an example of the "But I just wanted cheaper gas" people
Their ignorance is irredeemable
I love that he doesn't say a word and you immediately know what he's thinking
It's not just that he's mad, he's ready to shift blame
It's so fitting because from the start he shifted blame onto Cassian for everything that happened to him
to the point where it became an unhealthy obsession to find him
and cassian’s “who are you” while syril had been thinking of him nonstop was perfect icing on the cake
the last thing he knew was that the guy he had been obsessing over for years didnt think twice about him
You think cassian ever wakes up in the middle of the night thinking “wait actually who was that guy???”
Canon
syril defenders trying to explain how he was actually doing deep soul searching in his final moments after hearing "who are you?" and could've possibly joined the rebellion if he wasn't shot:
He’s not even thinking about Bix in his final moments that’s how dedicated he is to Syril
Syril’s arc is going to be real fun to rewatch
He would have never joined the rebellion 😭
I love the fact that this implies that Syril wasn't going to defect because of the genocide he participated in, but because Cassian didn't know who he was.
The only reason he would would be to give his miserable ass soul purpose
He wouldn’t have joined the rebellion, but I was kind of thinking he would’ve helped the ghormans, and I feel like he honestly might have if he never saw cassian,
We see constantly that it’s not even always about what he’s doing but rather that he is seen as important
i think the argument is that he hesitated after hearing it because he was wondering just who exactly he was and what he was fighting for
as if he's smart enough to actually do that
There was definitely some moment of realization no doubt
But still, the fact that people focus on that moment and not the one where he's taking what he's done is goofy.
The second he started choking Deedra I knew this was no goofy ass redemption 😭
As soon as he stalked Dedra there was no way this guy was getting redeemed
We can’t choke people now? Fucking lame
Not in my empire. Darth Vader would never approve of this
Big difference between doing it in the bedroom and doing it while threatening someone
“Not in public, dear”
The difference is in the bedroom Dedra is choking Syril not the other way around
I’m glad it was the Ghorman Rebel leader that shot Syril
Bro got some victory in the midst of all the turmoil
😭
Crazy
"Babe, it's 4pm! Time for your pegging session!"
if he killed her right there it would be the only good thing he did in the entire show
Zemo from Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Mon Mothma from Andor share a moment on the dance floor.
#Marvel #StarWars #Disney #Dancing
Just because I thought this part of Celebration couldn’t get any better 🥺🥹
I hope the friendship bracelets my friends made for me have brought you as much joy as they brought me Denise. It was the highlight of Celebration to have the chance to give them to you 🤍🖤
Angela and Rachel, I love you guys forever. Space Fam for life ...
I can't believe they confirmed every fan theory about them
K2 is the droid equivalent of one of those really scary dog breeds
I will not be taking questions
Okay but why do I want to make a parody tiktok account where I go full cosplay as an influencer explaining the latest imperial news to people
"So if you have not been following the situation in ghorman here's the run down"
now why the fuck did i just start my day by listening to elegy for ghorman

is she stupid?
The intro to episode 8
I think about it when I eat. I think about it when I sleep. I think about it when I shit.
I still find it hilarious how Melshi got introduced back into the show like a goddamn Marvel character
glup shitto i fucking guess
I'd say he is Andor's only glup shitto because he was quite literally just a randmo ass character in Rogue One
he wasn't really important
When character comes back(my immersion is ruined)
id say the show has more than earned a couple glup shitto moments like that
He's just the one that extracts Jyn from the work camp and leads part of the Rebel attack on Scarif
it would feel cheap if the rest of it wasnt so fucking good
I like that he actually gets some more agency
same
especially during the Narkina 5 arc
god dammit andor even does glup shitto cameos right
It doesn't detract or distract from the story
what have you done with my star wars…
I just find it funny how this nothing Rogue One character actually gets some good writing
I love how now we know that Cassian and Melshi were buddies from jail while I watch the final battle of Rogue One
Is melshi the mustache guy?
Yeah
I thought he was the same dude
Oh no wait I don't know him
He was at Narkina 5
Escaped with Cassian
Then Cass gave him Syril's blaster
and told him to split up with him so more people hear about the prison
OHHHHH
THAT'S RIGHT I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ENDING MOMENT
I was wondering what the hell that scene was
FUCK YEAH DUDE
unrelated but i love this freak on the left
there are so many TFA aliens
i even saw one of my favorite TROS glup shittos on yavin
side note i liked that saw was on d’qar for a bit
Yavin in general looks amazing in this show
cool connection
It doesn't give you whiplash from how the rest of the show looks when you arrive
Also killer opening to episode 7 with the ship landing and revealing Base One
badass bounty bot girl
Where was she??
Dan and Tony talked about the Force healer scene and how they meant it as a moment where Cassian sorta felt his own death coming, and why he eventually accepts it in Rogue One
That’s what I took from the scene as well. Or at least the healer could feel his fate
I like this being the only connection to the Force for the show
AL1-L3 my beloved
I like when people are sheltered/cut off enough that the force can be considered a myth
She has no right the serve as hard as she does for a character that exclusively appears in the background of like 5 shots
Common hide the best characters in the back SW L
walking past inside the yavin hangar
not sure which ep
it may have been 7
we got three fuckin days
I can't wait
Still thinking about how Rylaz asked Syril "what kind of a being are you?"
Not a lot of people talk about his performance in that epsiode he was going through it and it was perfect
The despair in that man's eyes and voice
I love that it's a mix of not understanding how he can be this stupid and this heartless
Either way he's impossible to truly understand for anyone with any understanding of basic empathy
I’m just so glad he didn’t get redeemed
It solidified Syril as one of the best Star Wars villains ever
Because how unconventional he is as a villain
Yes Britell is the goat and would have made a killer soundtrack for this season
But this fucks
This too
my fears were alleviated
roberts’ work is pretty great
The Messenger
I’m glad the only connection to The Force is people who are in tune with the Force can feel that Cassian matters and his destiny is important
He isn’t a “chosen one”
But he’s way more than your average Rebel hero
wasnt expecting any sort of force sensitivity in this show but i cant imagine a better way to incorporate it
such a beautiful way of writing the force
god
GOD
She felt him dying eventually and he did too
Him being called a Messenger actually made me sob
just a confirmation of what he already knew. that he’s going to die doing this
gives so much more weight to his final moments in rogue one
god
watching rogue one after this show is gonna hurt me
I’m also glad Luthen’s theme was back when he was talking about how Cassian was always there when he or other people really needed him
It goes back to Maarva saying how he’ll be an unstoppable force for good

Still laughing about how Syril died
Syril reminds me of this moment from The Venture Brothers
What a goated show
Same vibes
Admittedly it's hard to talk to people who know nothing about star wars about this because I'll be like "bro it's so good, there's like this mass murder scene that's so scary"
I wonder what someone I know who disliked Rogue One because he thought it meant Star Wars fans want Michael Bay would think of Andor
I think he stopped watching new Star Wars, so we’ll never know
I'm glad I stopped talking to star wars fans irl
What does RO have to do with Michael bay?
He figured since people’s favorite part was the action toward the end that fans would want more of that
Why isn't it Tuesday already
Last Andor Tuesday
Shhh cherish it in a week we will be wishing we had Andor again on Tuesday
I realised Andor didn’t make me want to have all of Star Wars like it but have SW media that have an air of maturity to their stories
Recently I’ve been enjoying Jedi Fallen Order a lot
Cal’s trauma is so well portrayed in Fallen Order
Another thing I like is the sorta on-the-fly explanation as to how the Axis Network was largely unknown by the other Rebel cels by them simply working completely covertly and mostly just supplying the cels who were openly fighting the Empire
It makes it feel way less jarring once you put Rebels into perspective
I hope at least Vel survives because it would be a cool little lore detail that Mon Mothma’s cousin is essentially the Alliance’s drill sergeant
I hope Cassian survives. Dude’s been through hell.
Lil
Writing so good even Syril’s blaster goes through a character arc
Bix went through hell and then sacrificed her relationship for the cause
There’s people saying their headcanon is that the K2SO comic are his implanted memories and what Draven claims was his origin so people don’t know he was part of the massacre
Similar to how in S1 they explained the change of Cassian’s homeworld from Fest to Kenari as Maarva submitting fraudulent information
Step Brothers: A Star Wars story
I thought of using implanted memories idea but the comic events really can still fit if we assume K-2 was regained by the Empire and had his kill switch moved to his butt, and then Cassian ran into him again
So he sat down and put a fanfic in is head
Yes
In the comic Cassian never says he’s meeting K-2 for the first time iirc
He asks what model he is after seeing the updates on him and he says he’s K-2SO
Mind you, one that still has K2 with remaining violent tendencies
Next episode gonna begin with Cassian being like, “What a strange year we’ve had, Kay-Two. You joined us, then the Empire got you back, then I ran into you again, and now you’re with us again.”
Tony could be slick and write some dialogue in passing about it lmao
he already did it with Cassian's home planet
#ReleaseTheSwierczynskiCut
I still subscribe to the implanted memories and Alliance propaganda headcanon
I wanna print that out and frame it
Seeing Eedy cry was also genuinely heartbreaking
Andor makes me feels sad for horrible people
“This was your aunt and grandma”
In an alternate universe Dedra, Syril and Eedy are a weird freak little family
What’s that recent movie about Nazis who live near Auschwitz? Imagine that as a comedy with these three
Syril and Dedra sitcom
Everybody Loves Syril
Zone of Interest?
I think that was it
For Mother’s Day we remember Syril and his mom
Syril would have been a great mother if he didn’t die during pregnancy
Padme would’ve been a good mother if she didn’t die from becoming a mother
Kids, amirite?
I had a dream last night about the next episodes where Cassian, Willrow? Willow? Bomb kid, and Vel were ambushed by an explosion caused by an imperial payed assassin who then brutally killed the two and then proceeded to cut up Cassian’s back with what I think was a box cutter and then it ended halfway through the dream
I think the assassin smashed open on of their heads like a pumpkin
Or like Perfect Cell did in Gohan’s dream in dbza
Gonna tell my kids this was Luthen and Cassian
His tie flight suit looked just like that
I have to talk about how andor made an already fantastic moment from alphabet squadron hit way harder than it already did.
(Incredibly light spoilers for the book) ||this character named chass who's really depressed and spent alot of her life on the streets abd in cults, one time ran into a woman who saved her from some thugs. Not intentionally, she just happened to also be fighting them for similar street rat reasons. Later, chass sees a holovid with that same woman- giving a speech to the rebel alliance about how they can't give into the oppression the deathstar would condemn the galaxy too, saying "rebellions are built on hope". Seeing jyn died on that mission after that speech inspired chass to join the alliance. Knowing that was indirectly because of the ghorman hotel guy i just- holy fuck||
You know, I kinda fuck with the idea that the cassian/K2SO comic was a cover story for how cassian found the droid.
Since you know, having a droid that helped in a massacre probably wouldn't be a good thing optics wise and they need an excuse for where cassian was and how he found the droid. Since they didn't log his leaving
Kinda like how the listed home planet for cassian in the rogue one visual dictionary was retconned into being a cover
I saw someone say it’s implanted memories + Draven’s cover story
Just saw a SW explained video about this stuff
This fixes the K2-SO retcon from Star Wars Andor season 2 👀 definitely my new head canon 🤷
Why does nobody like my idea that K-2 got recaptured by the Empire and then Cassian found him again? 😭
Because it sucks
One is a pointless sidequest, the other is a cool and unique idea, literally coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb
Not pointless; fun
pointless
The story is the same but the former fits more with the tone and style of story Andor is
So what? I can have fun watching a comedy show one day and then get chased by someone cursing me out trying to kill me with rocks the next day
The world of Star Wars isn’t just one tone, and it’s not like the tone of the comic is that vastly different
Is your entire life dedicated to just being a contrarian
Doesn’t seem like it to me
I loved last week’s episodes like everyone else did. That doesn’t seem very contrarian
What she should have done
THAT WAS SPIDER GUY?
Y…yea
For some reason I forgot that's who he was when he wasn't shooting Cinta
Feeding Syril's Spider addiction
Last Andor eve
After this it’s just Fallout season 2 keeping me from ending it all
Hopefully I'm not spoiling anyone. Really great show. Can't believe they started playing rock paper scissors.
I fuck with these posters
Dedra is so dying on the Death Star
need the mon one on my wall
THEY'RE DOING THAT 9/11 THING
WITH ROBERT PATTINSON IK WHAT UR TALKING ABOUT
I am so glad I only now started putting Star Wars decorations in my room and on my uni bag the majority of them are Rebellion/Resistance/New Republic themed
So real
I love the parallel posters
They did the same with Bix and Syril last week
found this on pinterest the other day. tinkled a little bit
oh wait this is part of a larger spread
i must find the rest
I was gonna say it looks like only the O in the logo
Ohoho it'll be so easy to remove the logos to print them out
the bix one… oughh
I need to print the main poster and the Bix one
Also unironically my favourite version of the main theme is from S2 episode 3
Mon Mothma's final courageous speech on the Galactic Senate floor!!! For the Rebellion!
#monmothma #andorseason2 #rebelalliance #galacticempire
“When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped from our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest”
🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Tony Gilroy cooked
Ngl so did Brandon Roberts
I retract everything I said about the composer change
He kinda cooked on his end
Idk who made these pieces for season 1 but I've always fucked heavy with the aesthetic
God it's so good seeing a star wars project that feels timeless in it's message and vibes
I knew he cooked since his Niamos remix
Moth Mother
This is a necessary sacrifice, Cassian. So that we might qualify for the Emmys.
you can kiss that goodbye
24 hours before we get the last episodes of peak and then have nothing to watch on TV for the rest of eternity
tv ends after tomorrow night. pack it up guys, time to give up. we already have peak
Group suicide on Wednesday
Be there or be square

Andor has seen Gorman's fate before...mass murder and genocide, strip mining, absolute environmental devastation.
That's basically the text I got from my brother when I sent him that thought.
Rewatched episodes 7-9
Bix and Cassian's theme being in the credits of episode 9 was like twisting the knife that was already piercing my ribs
Saw these on Facebook while doom scrolling, so dumb I had to share them.
In anticipation of the three-episode series finale of Andor, join Diego Luna and Creator & Executive Producer Tony Gilroy as they take us behind-the-scenes of the show's final season. Diego and Tony will be joined by special guests Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Elizabeth Dulau, Genevieve O’Reilly and Kyle Soller for live questions and reflection...
Just several more hours until we all die
I would actually lose my mind if somehow Deedra redeemed herself
Feels like she’s way too far from the rabbit hole
I hope so
I feel like we've already seen the only Imperials that will defect in the show in Season 1, and they're all dead
disney executives realized what they were producing and rewrote the finale themselves
“I’m…sorry 🥺”
what if she goes running in with a blaster and fights all the isb agents but then cassian teleports her a lightsaber and she sacrifices herself to save him
her and cassian have a dyad in the rebellion that partagaz sucks out of them to gain a fancy red imperial uniform
fortunately cassian defeats him because he is all the rebels
Last minute Andor prediction
By this final arc, he has a kid sidekick
But then the kid sidekick dies
oh phew
And it unites Star Wars fans because on one hand real life death bad, on the other hand kid sidekicks in Star Wars getting old
Aside from omeegah what other kid sidekick characters have there been?
A clone of you
Tweaking because there is a Red Imperial Uniform from Legends
Ahsoka, Ezra, Grogu, Leia…
What’s his face from Tales of the Underworld
Still haven't seen tales of the underworld
Ahsoka I guess but it's been so long it's hard to see her that way
Grogu is more a baby than a child
Leia is fair but she was more an extended cameo
And Ezra is kinda the main character more than a sidekick
K2SO is a kid
I guess you’re right. There should be more kid sidekicks in Star Wars
He just hit puberty hard
Think anyone’s gonna watch Rogue One right after these episodes and say it pales in comparison?
I predict we’re gonna see people bitch about everything for a year because it’s not Andor
People were doing that anyway
Yeah and it’s annoying
I’m really upset that Young Jedi Adventures isn’t Andor
Andor wishes it was that good
Andor wishes it had Nubs
Andor is Nubs
At this point the name Andor makes me think more of the show and its world in general than Cassian Andor himself
LOL
I just wanna say that before the series ends, this has been one of the most beautiful shows as of recent, both in cinematography, writing and acting
Had something I was supposed to do at 6 for an hour but it got cancelled so now I can watch Andor live!
Stone and Sky
FFS after I sent that the thing that got scheduled is back on again
If there is a god they have a twisted sense of humor
Stone and Sky
Stone and/or sky
I will be normal about this finale
Bet
Holy shit they brought back the starpath unit from the premiere
Is Luthen on fucking Mimban
We talking about Kleya?
(yes)
Okie dokie
Hopefully we get a Kenari mention tho
Is this ET’s species?
Looked like it
I don't think she's there to Rescue Luthan T_T
guys fuck
just finished the ep but i have to wait until tmrw for the last two
aaaauuueeeeghhh
time to mute this channel
You should instead go to gaming and be mentally ill about jedi survivor
YES MAAM!!!!!!
Something I realized is Andor is a show where they can get away with not showing the main character for a long period of time or even for an episode. Something The Book of Boba Fett could not.
Diva Krennic is back
I guess with TBOBF it didn’t help that it was at the cost of having a different show main character take space
TBOBF relied on another show to prop itself up, Andor built it's supporting cast and made them interesting enough that they can hold a whole episode on their own without their title character
K2 my boy it's good to see you being a brat again
I honestly cannot get over K-2's eyes
was that an et alien at the hospital
I wondered that
It’s kind of different enough to not be but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they wanted to imply
“Are you with us?”
“No.”
Peak cinnamon
Well. One more episode and then we’re gone
Also is there a chance K-2SO and Jyn Erso are related? Both their names end with “so.”
Absolute
K-2 used a gun? Guess this show sucks now.
So this Saw message to Mon Mothma has gotta be after the Rebels season 4 episode he’s in
Benjamin Bratt showing up for a split second looked like Jimmy Smits to me
I also like that Mon Mothma has gotten a haircut. Kinda thought Genevieve would stick to the fancier moon but they did well with continuity here given how she looks in Rebels and Rogue One
So do these episodes really take place a year before Rogue One or is it closer?
Honestly didn’t have Raddus on my Andor bingo card for some reason
One last one
Kafrene mention
At the end now
B2!
That stuttering…is DJ in this?
BABY!
This arc was definitely more of a denouement to the series and a prequel to Rogue One
Like the previous arc was the finale and this was the interlude between big arcs of a comic book series
I do kind of wonder if the momentum was slightly hurt by having to dovetail into Rogue One
Wow didn’t expect the Star Wars fanfare in the credits
Cause Rogue One is missing it's own
It sounds so similar to the one in Rouge Squadron
The movie?
No the games
Hug?
Oh wait I’m thinking of abrazo
So after watching this show
Seeing Cassian kill broken arm guy in Rogue One is actually funnier
It’s also funny because Cassian leaves Yavin dramatically at the end of the series and then its not very long before he’s back
Jimmy Smits is back!
Also Mon Mothma’s face kinda thinner
Ngl I was kind of expecting more from the Cassian and K-2 friendship on the show
Oh is Andor actually on Letterboxd?
The language of the cinematography flows pretty seamlessly from Andor to Rogue One
I think A New Hope is gonna be kinda jarring
Ngl I just quoted Happy Gilmore elsewhere mere seconds ago
“Right. And Grizzly Adams had a beard.”
Shit, this is supposed to have been in the meme room...I feel dumb
This Bor Gullet scene really highlights how similar Saw and Vader kind of are
Ugh this Dr Evazan and Ponda Baba moment sucks. It would never have happened on Andor.
This little crying girl Jyn saves for sure dies during the Death Star test in Jedha
Thanks Laughing Fox
Oh has Laughing Fox pointed that out before?
I meant the sticker lmao
I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the baby was kinda tacky
But otherwise perfect
It's nice to see Deedra Meero finally get ON PROGRAM
She got what was coming to her
I love that every imperial suffered at the hands of the empire's creations
The baby scene kind of reminded me of Planet Terror
K2 holding Heert up as a human shield was
Nemik's manifesto pushing Partagaz to straight up shoot himself in the head
So was Cassian lying in Rogue One when he’s in the prison cell and he tells Chirrut “This is a first for me”?
I thought she was about to kills herself there
she definetly did
I hope she worked herself to death
She probably became the Kino Loy of that floor
Even when they had her in jail she still felt the need to prove her loyalty to the empire
This show was perfect at showing irredeemable villains who still had depth
I think if they did caught Kleya then Dedra might not have been sent to prison like that
But since the whole thing got fucked up then everyone got screwed
I mean, its the first time Rebels capturing him put him in a real cell
Pao spotted
Also I think they used actual rogue one shots for Saw and Krennic at the end
screaming shark guy spotted
I could just be falling for it but they felt very specifically like different quality wise
Paodok'Draba'Takat Sap'De'Rekti Nik'Linke'Ti' Ki'Vef'Nik'NeSevef'Li'Kek
was Luthen on Naboo in the last flashback?
That's what I was thinking.
it looked like it
It was clearly Naboo
also I thought I saw Bail in the backgound of that one too
Luthen going to Palpatine's Homeworld to do terrorism is a very Luthen thing to do
Peak honestly
I saw a Gungan Skull in Luthen's last exhibit
Haters will say its Jar Jar's
Luthen probably would have killed Jar Jar
Not cause he was annoyed by Jar Jar but because Jar Jar is the reason Palpatine got emergency powers in the first place
Yeah I wondered about that too actually
Jar Jar lives until the New Republic untill he dissapears. (probebly to Exegul )
Cassian's kid is gonna appear in some sequel trilogy content now huh
Maybe he dies on Hosnian Prime
Guys what if he’s Snoke
Andor Jr. discovers the secret of Starkiller base
Andor Jr. in the same class as Jacen Syndulla
We get a sequel series
Cassian's kid grows old and has a big family and never does anything interesting or of note, the End.
Jar Jar and his kids kill palpatine's sith spirit
Andor's grandson is kidnapped by the First Order and becomes this guy
We bring back Hux in S2 but make him fruiter then Krennic
Filoni ass writing
I hate that I knew where you were going with that
Guys guys
He’d be like 10-11 at that point
And?
Or
He’s just a fart cloud
What if he’s actually DJ
We’ve known Jar Jar fucks since clone wars season 6
Okay let’s get you to bed Dave Filoni
Wolves and shit
he's got 3 kids so it's reoccurring
Do you think Jar Jat uses his tongue when he goes down on her
Yes
Like full length
Duh
Goofy has only fucked once, Jar Jar gets three.
Twice actually
He’s had two sons
Also there’s no way you’re telling me he didn’t get with Clarabelle and Sylvia
BREAKING: Disney retcons Poe's origin story again, he's now the son of Cassian and Bix
shoots myself like Partagaz
I’d kms if that happened
Pretty cool that they cast the brother of Thrawn’s actor to play Galen Erso
Do you think Kleya and Vel are girlfriends now
They have a couple letters in their names in common so they must be
We must resist the urge to ship them together...for now.
Kinda weird watching Rogue One knowing Vader’s servant who appears for just a few seconds later becomes a head in a jar on a spider robot
Robo Shitto
next year I think
Visions will be May the Fourth's series next year you think?
that or another tales series
Seems to be their May 4th tradition
when was Ashoka season 2 supposed to happen?
Tales of the Podracers when
They’re filming or starting filming soon so I think next year
I don’t expect it until after The Mandalorian & Grogu comes out
It’s kind of fitting that Andor ended the evening before George Lucas’ birthday
we must bake him 20,000 Jar Jar birthday cakes
With tongue in 3D
ah I remember watching 1 in 3D in theaters I missed part of it because my friend's mom was late
that was the first time I saw a Star Wars movie in theaters
the next time would be TLJ followed by TROS
Krennic asking Jyn “Who are you?” and Jyn firmly explaining who she is hits harder after seeing Cassian direct the same question to Syril, who was so inept at answering the question and died in a funny way
I’m on A New Hope and it really does feel like the weird one after going through Andor and Rogue One
If you like Andor but keep spouting sexist nonsense about Kathleen Kennedy, here’s Tony Gilroy talking about her involvement.
Time to recognise the legendary producer running Lucasfilm is great, even if you didn’t like that women and Black actors were cast in some movies— because if we’re honest, that’s the real criticism people have...
Most of the arcs take awhile to get going
And this one is just like fuck you we are going right into it
Absolutely perfect ending
I am so glad Wil, Vel and Kleya don't die
I also ABSOLUTELY love Kleya gets almost an entire episode dedicated to her
Vanee?
Huh
I guess he did become a robot spider
very on brand
How it started versus how it's going
I was expecting somewhat of a Rogue One shitto fest and while there were a few it honestly wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be
I thought it was going to be a year before rogue one for some reason so I was very confused
We got Rogue One to set up and show the events leading up to A New Hope and then Andor to set up and show the events leading up to Rogue One
The most tragic death in the show was Mon Mothma's hair
I'm not crying, you're crying
Thankfully it’s revived later on
Restores the republic and immediately gets her drip back
Someone oughta shoot the Alliance barber
At least he shaved Melshi's head so he can be bald instead of the receding hairline
Melshi has gotta be the goat of human glup shittos
I feel like a lot of shows I have watched have ended on subtlety recently, but I think it works in favor here as Andor was always a subtle show and also Andor’s “final” was always Rogue One
Me watching Rogue One after watching Andor
Rogue One is gonna feel like another Andor arc at this point tbh
It's gonna be difficult watching it without Andor
Thought Dedra was gonna die, crazy that she just got on program
She probably built the pieces of the second Death Star kinda how Cassian built the ones for the first
I wonder what happpened to Wilmon, I'm guessing he wasn't on Scarif cause he was injured
I hope he just became another Rebel spy like Cassian
Lonnie is the unsung hero of Star Wars tbh
Lonnie and Kleya are like 90% of the Rebellion's power
Bro gave it all just to be shot by Luthen 💀
Bail and Cassian talking about wanting to give the Empire hell before dying is highly ironic given they both die the exact same way
Within a mere few days
The new actor did a great job but it's a shame Jimmy Smitts couldn't come back this was like the only opportunity for Bail to get any substance as a character 💀
I would be surprised if we ever saw the character again
Considering there’s really not much more to tell with his character I definitely doubt it lmao
Luthen going out by accepting his own death and stabbing himself so the Empire wouldn’t torture and seek answers out of him was truly a goated move
So was Partagaz shooting himself once he realised he lost and couldn't contain the Rebellion, he finally understood Nemik's manifesto
This was the funniest shit for some reason
True, but what was this move
I guess he lost his cuntiness because of the incompetence of his lackies
Worst part of the episode was realizing Perrin was still alive
That shitter should have been shot in the head
"Behind every gay person there's s a more evil, more gay person"
Rogue Two

I had a feeling Dedra's final fuckup would have been her obsession with Luthen
Kid Andor? Andor Babies? Two Rogue Two One?
K-2SO is a gift from God
Him using Heert as a meat shield was so unintentionally funny
Loved the whole parade thing
My headcanon is that Krennic and Partagaz explored each other's bodies so when the mf Kurt Cobain'd he lost his connection to the zest
They got Coruscant so well this season
I wasn't completely satisfied with it in Season 1
Looked... too pedestrian, not "Galaxy far far away"
I don't get that anymore in S2
The empire is actually scary in this show
Is K-2 CGI?...
He looks really REALLY good
when I was a teen watching rebels, I was convinced that Fulcrum was Bail Oriana
The shot of Melshi running with the soldiers is probably also him getting ready to extract Jyn from the labour camp
I haven't looked at a CGi character that looked this good since Davy Jones in Pirates 2 and 3...
I think he is part CGI part practical
depending on the shot
Right
John Williams’ score plays in the credits
YEA YOU'RE RIGHT
Its the main theme
from ANH
But it's Either Britell or Brandon Roberts' cover
It’s like the score in the credits is reminding us that in spite of the darkness and sacrifices made it’ll pay off soon enough
Better use of the actiony version of the main Star Wars theme than in TROS
Cassian a real one for actually still caring about Luthen and Kleya even if he fully detached from the Axis Network
Krennic telling Deedra to her face that she’s found the wrong calling and that’s she not needed was hilarious
She still ended up serving the Empire
just not in the way she thought
such a perfect and satsifying ending for her
I’m also satisfied with the explanation as to why the ISB stopped being relevant in the OT
Their entire leadership was wiped out an Military Intelligence basically took its place moving forward
The ISB became a shell of itself
Like Ninja Turtles but without the turtles in the shells
I may have reasons to like Clone Wars more
But Andor is probably the best Star Wars ever made
Second only maybe to Empire Strikes Back
This freaking show has no right to be this good, wtf
I think I prefer TCW because it feels like it has every shade of Star Wars
Yeah
May be the George touch
Still, this whole Andor/Rogue One saga is the best thing Disney has done with the property, by far
Makes me sour even more for the sequels :T
So many sacrifices, so many lives and unsung heroes to bring back justice to the galaxy
Except JK cause First Order
PARTAGAZ USING THE COVER THAY KLEYA WAS INFECTED AND ESCAPED GOES BACK TO HIM SAYING HOW THE ISB ARE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS THAT TREAT SICKNESSES BEFORE THEY SPREAD
Him listening to Nemik’s manifesto is him accepting that he failed spectacularly
The Rebellion had spread
They already lost
He’s smart enough to know the Death Star isn’t going to be enough to stop it at that point
He knew it was over before Krennic, before Tarkin, before Vader and the Emperor
Mf probably wasn't loyal to Mon even during their marriage look at how miserable they were together
As for Dedra... you know what? Serves her right
Watching Rogue One now
It has the same effect as Watching ROTS after watching CW
The only logical thing I can do after this is play Star Wars Dark Forces which is just the Legends version of Andor
Fantastic game
Still prefer the new story
I've been wanting to play Dark Forces as of late, actually
Yeah it's way better in canon with how the Death Star plans were stolen
I kinda don't like how it HAD to be Kyle Katarn who then becomes a Jedi and everything
still good series of games on its own
It's way more impactful and dramatic that a suicide mission of people who gave everything for the Rebellion was the thing that brought the Death Star plans to Leia
Also thinking if Brasso didn't cover for Kellen when the Empire did their audit, Bix couldn't go back to Mina-Rau to raise her and Cassian's kid since the Empire would probably crack down on him and anyone who was holding undocumented farm hands
Saw has to be the most documented Star Wars sidecharacter of all time
Where's that one troll who joined here just to ragebait complain that B2 was just left on Mina-Rau
I bet he feels stupid about now
Odd choice for them to focus on the mortis mural in luthens shop when they've entirely been a background piece.
Unless the show trying to imply that's where palpatine got them from
The ISB tac team looted everything from Luthen's shop so they could bring it to Thrawn
Only to find out bro got yeeted out the known Galaxy
Cause I assume the Battle of Lothal happens about the same time as the final three episodes of Andor/Rogue One
Well the jedi temple on lothal was a palpatine thing.
Thrawn didn't give a shit, he just wanted his tie defender to be funded. So he went along with it all
Lothal liberation is 1bby
Apart of me kinda disappointed we went two seasons, with a heavy focus on the isb. And never once saw a isb agent
I cried after watching Rogue One now
I think everyone did
You know I realized
There’s a good chance that Dedra gets released after Yavin cause most of the ISB gets blown up
Its more likely that the prison gets abandoned and she starves to death or is killed during following riots
We’ll find out in Tales of the ISB coming May 4th, 2028
I'd want that only for kallus content
No he’ll be in Tales of the Gay Rebels coming the following year
No cause we need the Krennic Diva origin in Tales of the ISB
I need him to have a Diva off with Thrawn
Isn't krennic origins largely in catalyst
When has that stopped Dave Filoni?
Idk
I believe krennic was originally gonna be in rebels s4 though
Of all things sabine and jyn have canonically met
Yeah pretty much
How he met Galen
Them becoming friends
Roommates even
The bitchslap he gave Galen on Eadu was personal
He left him for Lyra
There is no way the mf is straight
I feel like thrawn would win the queen off though.
Purely because he had a twink and a old man on each arm.
And krennic only gay lover left him for a woman
I love how Cassian was technically drunk driving the U-Wing in episode 11
That they're a vampire
NO CASSIAN DON'T GO TO KAFRENE
So next year’s gonna be Tales of the Rebellion, right?
That would be cool
Next year is Grand Theft Auto 6
Thrawn when he finds out that the Antique dealer he bought Gree's helmet from was a Rebel spy all along
No it’s gonna be Tales of the Glup Shitto
We get shorts for Klaud and Selacious B Crumb
Honestly I feel like the only reason thrawn not in the show outside of gilroy being cringe and not wanting shittos.
Is because he's like the one fucking dude in the galaxy who cares way too much for art and would clock luthen ass frame one
Pellaeon buys Gree's helmet from Luthen as a present
Honestly, that would be a more interesting interaction than Thrawn and Luthen
I feel like that would be a eli gift. But pellaeon would be the only one of the three to actively visit coruscant
Though also eli would probably clock luthen as well
So yeah send pellaeon
I wouldn't say Gilroy hates Glup Shittos, he's just actually capable of writing a story without having to dangle keys to keep Star Wars fans entertained
*he and his team
Honestly he seemed to work harder to fit canon while respecting his writers's creative visions than the majority of star wars tv creators these days
There were tons of nods, references, recurring characters, and work arounds with established plotlines. They just felt naturally incorporated as opposed to shoving a random jedi or bounty hunter from an animated series in a show at the end of an episode to get Twitter all apeshit
Yeah
It's going to suck going back to the Mandoverse style of writing for Glup shittos where its "remember this character?" and even if they do have a story it sucks
Then Rogue One has those two fucks from the cantina show up on Jedha
Okay but like, that literally rarely happens.
The only specific example I'd call key jingling is bane and luke in bobf.
Almost every other shitto in a live action show serves a purpose to the plot or a wider narrative. You can dislike their inclusion. But to act like its all the same in brain dead and bad faith
Venom Joowbear cameo?
I thought of the same thing
best cameo
The narrative is shaped around those moments though. The fabric of the show depends on slow drip feeding those characters so that people stay engaged. Boba Fett wouldn't have ever shown up in the middle of a mando episode, they needed him at the end. Anakin needed to show up in the last second of that Ahsoka episode for the sake of hype. And it's the same with how Bail steps out of the shadows in Rogue One with that pause for applause moment. Regardless of the larger story, it's bait for social media and theater hype.
I wouldn't include Bail in that lineup
I fundamentally disagree with literally all of those except for bail.
Perfect contrasting example
Mon Mothma's role in Andor is like if Bo Katan was actually written well
But also, like even being framed as a audience moment doesn't even remotely make it bad.
Boba fett was naturally built up towards across the first and second season.
Bo-katan has a natural reason to exist in the show, but you can just say you don't like her their. It doesn't have to be this big thing.
And I legitimately don't fucking get the anakin point. Unless you mean the last episode.
Because his appearance at the end of a earlier one was again, a fairly natural part of the plot and a end of episode stinger. You know. Something that's existed in the industry for decades.
Like you can literally just say you don't like a characters inclusion in a story. It doesn't have to be this deep fucking narrative that creatives are trying to hide from you
Like, I don't mind Bo in Season 2 but I mind when she becomes the main character out of nowhere in Season 3 because the writers got bored of Din
But that's a separate issue
Also you're using very specific examples in the Mandalorian and bobf when ahsoka s1 does this incredibly well.
Mothma inclusion is fucking natural as hell.
You can argue C3PO was a point moment. But he also serves as a narrative replacement for leia. So her presence is still felt in the story without having to touch the shit of recasting or cgi zombie.
Fucking resistance dudes father.
All the returning rebels characters on lothal.
The fucking goat Carson
Like for the bad examples. There are good ones
FUCKING COBB VANTH IN THE MANDALORIAN AS WELL.
Dude like the first book character from the new canon to appear in live action
Still thinking about his final scene
So peak that he got everything he ever wanted only to find out that he's miserable
Honestly more satisfying than him being homeless or something
Same with Dedra
My problem isn't just that I don't like the characters being included, my problem is that Disney is reliant on that. I don't care whether or not people enjoy it, I care that it's a formula that is capitalized on to ensure the most amount of attention and money is made off of each project.
Yeah
Honestly I still think there’s a chance she just gets rehired by the ISB since they got blown up so they need everyone they can get
And i fundamentally disagree that that's even remotely the case or a reason why these characters get included.
Like capital is always a factor. But I do not believe it is a driving factor behind why some of these characters return
I feel kinda bad for him
I mean it looked like they were on the path to repairing their relationship and then Mon just shakes the entire galaxy and just leaves him
And I think that it doesn't matter, that's what they got. Creators aren't stupid, they don't just casually throw these hype moments in at key points with no awareness that that'll be the reaction. I fully agree that I think everyone involved with the majority of star wars projects under disney care about including these character because they just like them. I just think that Disney's driving factor when hiring these creators is making sure they're the type of fan who wants to make those moments happen. I think Gilroy and his team proved to be an exception, and I think in general Kennedy and other creators at Lucasfilm know that people like the Andor team deserve a shot just as much as anyone else. But there's only so much pull they have when every other week a new hype moment project drops and makes bank. Whether it's marvel, dc, minecraft, ghostbusters, whatever, it proves time and time again that people are here for those moments.
I think its interesting that when Perrin is starting to take more interest in her, that's when she leaves
I wonder if the show hadn't been trunkated, we would have been able to see that more
I'd be very interested in a comic series that fills in the gaps of the show.
Tony Gilroy comes back to make Andor 2 and retcons all of them
But like, i still don't think that it really matters or is even remotely as common as people make it out to be. Especially when we talk in terms of sw and marvel, and dc in a state where you can't really say anything either way.
And i don't even think audiences broadly want it and executives know that, since like a lot of recent example of "key jingling" just don't work or result in anything.
Like the minecraft movie would be the only example. But I think that's a very specific case with the shitty memes
And also the fact marvel just don't fucking hire fans. And it's almost common place for actors and directors to shit talk superhero movies like they're beneath them. Despite working on them
I don't know what to say to you if you think that it's not prevalent when literally these projects break box office records all the time. Also I wouldn't apply Lucasfilm's process to picking creators to Marvel's process. I don't think those are fans cultivating those hype moments, I think that's purely executives.
I don't think every attempt at capitalizing on hype and nostalgia is always a guaranteed success, but it's a higher likelihood than projects without those moments.
They're also more likely to get marketing and advertising that guarantees that success.
But I still don't even remotely think its working when stuff like marvel movie are notably making less and less, and recent ghostbuster movies are bombing or not doing amazing. Because a lot of shit just keep trying to capitalise on hype and nostalgia which just physically isn't there
Also not even getting into the fact most of the upcoming star wars stuff movie wise after mando and grogu are focused entirely on new characters, with likely little room for anybody known to appear.
Like I don't think anyone major can be in the ryan gosling movie.
Who the fuck could be in dawn of the jedi aside from huyang.
And taika film will probably be incredibly specific along with the new trilogy in the works
I think star wars films have been in production hell for a while because they struggled to figure out how to find the balance in the appeal of these types of stories. They found success in Mando, and ran with it through the next few shows and largely abandoned prioritizing movies. Now they're going back to it sure, but the first film being released is still a Mando movie. And yeah Marvel isn't doing as hot, but Deadpool and Wolverine literally just came out and was their fifth highest grossing movie, the 20th highest grossing of all time, and the highest grossing r-rated movie of all time. I don't disagree with the notion that patience for nostalgia is running thin among audiences, but it's still a safer bet for these studios than hoping a random new original movie will find an audience. It's been their philosophy for decades, and casual audience members are almost always going to pick a movie from a franchise they recognize that's getting massive positive reactions from Twitter over an indie film that gets great reviews but lack clear incentives for seeing it beyond that.
I really hate that Deadpool & Wolverine made as much money as it did. I really do just see it as a nostalgiafest.
And I hope Andor is more proof that projects can just be successful cause they're well written. I want the cheap nostalgia movies to keep failing. But it's hard to hold out hope for that when most people don't care one way or the other.
I only liked it from the perspective of the Fox movies getting their time to shine after decades of neckbeards shitting on them
Like, I think it was a genuinely nice thing for the people making it to do
Which is why it's better than the second one
I feel like deadpool and wolverine is a incredibly bad example to use, when it was guaranteed to do well anyway. And was specifically a passion project for ryan and Hugh
What examples is Circle supposed to use when you say every one is bad
Idk fucking ghostbusters or 80% of the jurassic park films
But like…everyone remembers Daredevil and Elektra movies were kinda bad, right?
It wasn't really about whether or not the movies were bad
It was about the legacy the fox movies left and laid the groundwork for superhero movies
I like how New Line is never brought up lol
The “only one Blade” line really rubs me the wrong way with how the Blade reboot has been in development hell
I mean, its not like they knew when they wrote the joke
But also Wesley wasn't even the first live action blade
Jeremy Jahns is my favorite Blade
He wasn’t? I know there was a TV show that came later
Yeah I think it was Snipes and then Sticky Fingaz
So is Bix’s kid Cassian’s?
That’s good
That also gave Bix another reason to leave
Andor S3 👀
Cassian would have never stayed at Yavin if he knew he was going to have a child
That kid better fight in the Resistence
There's people already saying it's Poe Dameron 💀
💀💀
God I hate this fandom
Give me Vol. 4 Brandon Roberts so I can listen to your cover of the main Star Wars theme
I'm beginning to understand why so much Star Wars media is just aura and hype moments
Critical thinking is dead in the Star Wars fanadom
Me when I heard the main theme in the credits of the final episode:
Andor makes the Empire's loss of the Death Star seem like even more of a blunder than it already was
They literally JUST finished constructing it and wanted to test it its existence was already leaked to the Rebel Alliance
I need a gif of “I don’t like it here” please 🙏
I think if Bix stayed there was a chance that Cassian would’ve stayed with the rebellion but if he had a kid then he 100% would’ve left
I didn't expect to laugh my ass off from this show but "I've been counting the orders we've disobeyed so far, would you like to know how many?" "no" "seventeen"
That made me piss myself
So is Bix's kid like John Andor or smth
Now it’s eighteen
No it’s Cassian Rouge One: A Star Wars Story
The speed and tone at which K2 responded was comedy gold
Because K2 is the greatest comedian ever
Bix's kid is Kyle Katarn
Alan Tudyk is a genius
Dedra reading the Death Star files
Should we feel bad for Lonnie?
Like, he definately had to die because he would have cracked the second the ISB found him
Absolutely bro was hardcarrying the Rebellion
"But his age makes no sense" he's got special Katarn aging
Now I’m waiting for the K2 spinoff series K2 fast K2 serious that he promised
Yeah
And because he knew about Yavin
I imagine if the ISB leadership didn't completely collapse after Partigaz partigazed himself they would have found out how much their shit got rocked by him
I would've killed Luthen over Lonnie I won't lie
I don't care how necessary it was that made me very upset
It took the pride of ONE supervisor and ONE mole to uncover the most secret project the Empire has been hiding for the past 19 years
I'm honestly surprised that anyone from Axis survived into the Original Trilogy
I am glad they didn't all die despite my predictions
guess Cassian's "everything" was just Bix
I'm so glad people made it
and it hits harder now
Cassian the deadbeat dad
I hope his kid never sees the war I won't lie
I don't want him to become a freedom fighter, I want his kid to see the sunrise that Cassian couldn't
Anyways else things Val was keeping in touch with Bix
So she might’ve told her about Cassian’s death in Scarif
I'm glad Mon's cousin is the Rebel drill instructor basically
