I doubt that as well
I highly believe Tarkin won’t be in this show
Especially after how his appearance in Rogue one was received
In canon we don’t know exactly who caused the massacre on Ghorman
So I definitely see them changing it to someone else
Krennic or perhaps another Imperial officer
My theory is Cassian escalates is since there’s a lot of scenes from the trailers with him with a sniper
Maybe it’s a red herring
All I know is that arc is going to cook
But I hope it’s Dedra’s plan she told Krennic working out
She essentially tells Krennic to do what Luthen did with Aldhani but within the Empire’s control
Instead of Luthen engineering it it would be the ISB
just finished the new episode
they cooked
sadly have to wait for the other two due to vpn limitations
How has blud already watched the new episode when the new episode hasn’t even aired on Disney+ yet
Time travel?
I’m crying
Its so weird to see him not crying
He looks like an alcoholic or wife beater
the face he's making looks like a jd vance edit
He looks hungry
but the bricks are gone
Thank you for reminding me to go block him on social media in the off chance someone I know retweets one of his dumb thoughts.
Idk what you mean truly the intellectual mind of our era
What a little bitch
SWT has become such a miserable channel
Oh shit it's the Resistance Base from the sequels
Oh shit, they mentioned "The Tarkin Massacre" woo
OMG Rhydonium
Cyril's beret is fantastic. I love it on him.
OH GOD THEY MADE THE GHORMANS FR*NCH
SPACE FRENCH,
Huge missed opportunity
They didn’t even show Tarkin land the ship
“Show don’t tell”
Tarkin is a hero for killing all those French people
He's not a wife beater because his wife already left him
Onto episode three, I wonder if Cyril and Andor run into each other or not.
I see they took the "Where are all the aliens" critique to heart.
Lesbian action in the 6th episode
Shame that Jimmy Smits was recast. But it couldn't be avoided I suppose
My favorite part was when Darth Vader killed Dedra in the end
Unfortunately Bail is an integral character to the creation of the formal Rebellion
Ghorman is literally StarWars Paris lmao
I love it and hate it all the same
Forest Whitaker automatically steals every scene he’s in as Saw
Absolute menace when it comes to acting
We are getting a lot of looking at Imperial inner working in these three episodes
Gotta appreciate it
Fuck yeah, Bix.
I am absolutely loving how he embraces his insanity
MOROFF
I’m called it and love that Bix put the Gorst airpods on him
Tho now there’s a huge security risk for Luthen since two of his agents blew up an Imperial facility 😭
Give how everyone is getting sick of Luthen and how he divides people I don’t think he’s surviving the next arc
I'm taking bets that Andor's gonna have to kill him...on Mon Mothma's orders.
There’s scenes of Dedra in his shop
In the trailers
Vel might be on it too if she doesn’t die by then
Updating the Bingo card T__T
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Well that's what she gets for being a bad partner
Val can find a Woman who's attentive to her needs
If she lives
Also if that was the only scene of Bail Organa in the show I find the recast less annoying
Honestly, I think Star Wars should do more recasts if they need to.
I just had a thought and I don't know if it's a cursed one or not...Alden Ehrenreich being a secret Cameo playing Han Solo again in a show like this.
I find it more, just write it out 😭
I'm not done with episode three but if his two sentence moment is all there is then that was extremely unnecessary
Yeah, if he was in the whole season and they couldn't get Jimmy Smits then yeah, recasting is worth it but so far, I don't think so.
It’s all there is
Then yeah that was really distracting
If he doesn't what was event he point?
Doesn’t help he looks nothing like Jimmy
They really just went for the only other middle aged hispanic actor they knew
If this was the only scene I could easily forget it even happened but why bring him in the first place if it was just for one scene
They really have to make it worth it if he gets more important scenes later down the line
FUCK HIM UP BIX, MAKE THAT BITCH SUFFER
That last shot was relationship goals
Good shit all around with these episodes
I like how Saw referred to the fuel as his sister, fiery and explosive. It's a nice callback to his CW origins without being too direct for people who don't know about it.
Too many aliens in these episodes. I need characters to be human for me to relate to them.
Bail is an integral character to the Rebellion I’m not sure why he wouldn’t be in more scenes
Dr. Cock
I could honestly care less about the Bail Organa recast
Oh, is that why he looked so different?
Like, it'll be weird if he's in more stuff than this
I'm just glad that they didn't use Monsterface CGI on him
"Hi Guys its me Jimmy Smitts, I'm actually in this episode!"
The verbal sparring between Mon Mothma and Krennic was good
Didn't even know I wanted to see those two in a scene together until it happened
You put three absolute wordsmiths in the same scene only greatness can ensue
I think you mean you couldn’t care less
Honestly surprised Krennic wasn’t in the first season his snarky sometimes subtle personality fits the show quite well
I don't think they knew they were gonna make a season 2
Since the Season is fully focused on the Death Star happening in the background instead of it just being a after-credits scene
I thought they originally had like a five season pitch
Wasn't that after Season 1's success?
Dunno, legit asking
I don’t think so?
I remember coming out of season 1 thinking they were condensing four seasons into one because season 1 might have been popular but not THAT popular
Cinta dying after realizing that she'd been a bad partner was brutal
I forgot who she was
Especially to a idiot child trying to prove himself
Like Mon's friend, I forgot who he was
She's Miss Belinda Chandra silly
Padme?
I forgot what they did in Season 1
She was Mon’s friend and died in Episode III
No, the guy who was left by his wife
Me when I saw the best Padme fit from Episode 1 (It's too peak)
If this arc is ending on a (mostly) positive arc I’d hate to see how the next one ends 😭
Especially if Luthen is happy
Luthen sacrificed Cinta so the show could end on a good note
He has to be very considerate of the current administration, which is out of character for him but he does love killing people
It's absolutely unhinged that they had Sabe be in that Buzzfeed Trivia thing then showed her best fit in the Ghorman arc
Speaking of Ghorman
The sets for Ghorman were incredible
The production designers cooked
The worldbuilding was definitely a huge positive for this arc
I do like Nicholas Brittel’s score better, but the new composer Brandon Roberts does a fantastic job with adding a variety to the score
Especially with Ghorman’s scenes
I feel like Dedra and Syril still don’t have any idea to the full extent of what they are involved with quite yet and are in for quite the arc shift once they see the Empire on full gear with the planet
The fact that Syril doesn’t know anything about the Ghorman project but is willing to fully cooperate with the Empire just to feel somewhat of importance 💀
Maybe Tarkin was right I would also land my cruiser on a group of Fr*nch people
I can’t believe Jerma killed Cinta
Okay so the Ghorman massacre everyone thought this season was going to cover actually already happened, right? And this show is going to show a separate Ghorman massacre?
A lot of people thought they would decanonise the old one
And have a new one that makes Mothma leave the senate
This time the second one will be the one that makes Mothma leave
Interesting way of doing it
She would never order that
Ghorman speaking
9/10 because they didn’t show Tarkin land his ship on the protestors
I also love how Luthen is like: "don't take sleeping pills they're bad for you"
And Saw is like: "yes my boy huff gasoline"
Gasoline maxxing
I'm theorising this arc was meant to show how Luthen's methods are slowly fading into obscurity because once a full on rebellion grows it will need stable leadership and unity, while Luthen's network is way too restrictive and methodical, you see how it's hurting Cassian, Vel, Mon and Cinta
Cinta quite literally died because Luthen wanted the Ghorman Front to be a huge player against the Empire too much before they were organised and trained enough
What should’ve happened last night
Leak from Episodes 7-9
Not to mention his methods don't inspire. He's trained an army of cynics who are better at convincing people to not fight than to actually rebel at this point just cause they have major attitudes
It’s paradoxical that he wants other cels to work together but keeps his own operatives apart
Knowing what's happening in both Andor and Rebels he is slowly going to have to be replaced as the main driving force of the Rebellion, he is nearing his expiration date
I also love the gradual buildup of Mon Mothma's anger at the Imperial senate and the Empire with how many senators aren't willing to challenge PORD and how many of them mostly use their positions to live lavish lives
I love how realistic it is when she talked about her crime rates increasing because of PORD which reminded me of something like the War on Drugs in America and the increase in incarciration of people who weren't the source of the problem
It's so good
I think it's been a while since I've heard actors in star wars so perfectly sell such absurd sounding names and places while talking to alien creatures with such a real way of speaking
Her emphasis on "crime is rising in Ghorman of all places!" perfectly conveys how historically it's ridiculous to assume they're a threat
I also love how close Ghorman is to its real life inspiration
Reminds me of the French Resistence during WWII
And it doesn't fall into stereotyping
It feels authentic
Especially the drip they gave Cinta and Vel, I love the dark coats and berrets
Friendship ended with Ryloth, now Ghorman is my new Best Friend
That’s a good idea actually
Maybe Ryloth is Star Wars Algeria
I mean with how washed Luthen is becoming and how angry everyone but Kleya is
It's prime time for the Rebels to start trusting each other
It's as Jyn said "trust goes both ways"
I'm pretty sure Vel won't be pleased once she finds out Mon has been worrying about her and that Cinta died because of one of his missions
I like that Bix's cure for that Imperial who was probably a dumb kid was to kill one who definately wasn't
I love how Bix and Cassian just said "Fuck it, fuck Luthen, let's go kill this guy right now"
Bix should have stolen that cake
If you’ve watched the Behind the scenes video, they hired all Fr*nch actors for the Ghorman roles and even the made up language they speak is based on it, while the architecture itself is based on Italy
One last torment
And then blow up his office after putting him into his own torture device
I love that Bix got to do this and I was hoping she would have from the start
Yeah
I was wondering if Ghorst was gonna be behind Torture Droids or some shit like that
But I should have known he wouldn't survive the show lmao
It's probably why they use them
They don't have him anymore
So they have to make due
his device and pattent for it was probably kept very secret as well so they couldn't make more of them
Killing him also made that issue of too many prisoners to process way bigger for the ISB
I’m actually fascinated to see how Syril and Dedra go out in this show with their current arcs
Do you think luthen losing it, not because the rebellion growing faster than he can control.
But because he had to run a op for ezra and zeb and it broke him
Luthen looks tired man
It was the fruit
The fruit was where he drew the line
He probably had to run several ops for Ezra and ended up losing his mind
I wish they made his hair gray it would be insanely funny
Those goddamn meilooruns
I love how flawed everyone is in this show, there’s no perfectly morally correct characters like in traditional Star Wars.
Hang on has everyone seen all the episodes?
Yes
Yes
Luthen watching a carefully planned operation fall apart (Luthen and Ezra hijacked a Meiooorun shipment)
I also love how the cels in Rebels directly contradict Luthen's methods at this point
They all are people who care about each other and don't leave anoyne behind
He's not getting with the times
Also are Cinta and Vel named after Boba Fett’s Legends wife Sintas Vel?
Do you think Saw is huffing gas fumes in Rogue One
Yes
It's Val so I doubt it
No?
It’s Vel
She is called Vel
Damn
Dyslexia but when you hear the word/name
Sometimes I forget how Star Warsy Star Wars names can get
Luthen is definitely about to take quite the fall in the next arc lmao
Am I the only one who was also a bit giddy when we saw the X-wings that Saw's Partisans use go into hyperspace
Yeah you can’t just have Kira. It has to have a Q and an apostrophe in it
The second he realizes that the rebellion front on Ghorman is nothing but a falsehood that the Empire can use to twist he’s going to lose his sanity
I love how Syrill is all happy that he gets to do shit for the ISB
“This is the greatest day of my life” 🤓
Tbh this is the most relatable saw ever been.
Because I too love to roll down the window at the gas station and breath in the toxic gas fumes
I've been huffing gasoline and LPG fumes for two years now and yeah they damage your brain
Diesel sucks tho it's actually awful
Do you think that the fumes tell Saw to kill Civilians?
I like to believe he shot Pruti just out of paranoia
Maybe this is how saw ended up getting lung damage. It wasn't accidentally breathing in the gas they used to kill the geonosian. He fucking huffed it willingly thinking it was fuel
It just so happened his accusations were correct
Saw when he smells a toxic gas on the wind
I mean we don't really get any concerete proof he was a spy
It's genuinely impressive that the Partisans lasted as long as they did
And after Saw's death as well
They're quite literally nutjobs
They're a bunch of crazy people who don't trust eachother
They're as wild as Saw
I have a sneaking suspicion every arc is going to have a major character death at the end
Or multiple
We are at two
Brasso and Cinta are already gone
I hope Vel gets a rebound instead of just becoming as angry as Cinta was
Luthen gonna die of a heart attack after seeing a meiloorun
I wonder if Gilroy got some critique on the Lesbian relationship which is why she got softened before she died
was chopper his favorite?
Chopper the one that killed him
If Luthen died by Chopper killing him I would clap
Deserved for being Space Fr*nch
The only gripe I have about the Ghorman Massacre is that I assumed that Tarkin parked a Star Destroyer on them
But the Plaza is too small for one to actually fit
Honestly iconnected more with the ghorman before learning they were French assholes.
Tbh it probably wasn't a star destroyer. Since those literally are not designed to land
I would assume it was a standard imperial shuttle.
Just considering the fact it would scare the shit out of people whenever they see one after the fact
It probably was a shuttle
I just assumed it was something larger because "massacre" implies a large number of people died
And Imperial shuttles aren’t small, it was about 400 people
But that's not necessarily true, the Boston Massacre only resulted in five people dying
So even if Tarkin only squished 20 Ghormans or so, that'd still be a massacre because its civilians being killed by the military
Saint Valentine's Day Massacre was like 7 people dying
So it could still be just him landing a shuttle
Yeah
Man what is Andor even about now we got Tarkin landing a ship on some people and caused a massacre in doing so
The Plaza is large enough that one could fit where the Memorial currently is
are you even watching the show
Nah but I don’t care about spoilers, I’ll probably watch it when it’s all out.
The Palmo plaza also remainds me a lot of Prequel set design approach
Then watch it lmao and you’ll know what it’s about
Is the first pic an actual location? Because this looks oddly familiar
No it’s a square in a Ghorman city
The Ghorman Plaza is actually the Kaaba Shrine???
Yes I know it’s a location in the show I meant is the set a real place? You know how Prequel sets were actual locations?
I think it’s a set
The mountains do remind me of the ones in Hejaz 💔
I haven’t watched the BTS of this arc
Because they look good?
No because the buildings have softer overall looks to them and don’t have a worn feeling to them kinda like coruscant’s lower levels in the show
I think it’s because since the empire is still somewhat new that area still hasn’t been effected unlike coruscant.
It’s a world closer to the core
Ferrix for example is in the Outer Rim and it looks worn, used and almost post-apocalyptic
Chandrilla has the same vibe as Ghorman, Naboo and so on
Speaking of the Prequels, I always thought it was weird that Andor filmed in real locations because I assumed that all of Coruscant's buildings were these big Sci-fi skyscrapers
But now after rewatching 2/3s of them they do fit a lot more than I thought
I do think that Cassian and Bix should have gone to Dexter's Diner for their date night
The Empire up until that point existed for 15 years
16
Makes sense
But I think it’s a difference in how rich a certain system/region is
One thing I really love about the way the Ghormans talk about it too is that they think this is all the ISB running things and are actively convinced Palpatine is being manipulated. Bro has created such strong propaganda making him look innocent that the people he's killing think he couldn't possibly be responsible
It’s uncomfortable how realistic it is
Yeah
glad Im not the only one who realizied
I say this because propaganda here continuously paints the president as this person who isn’t in control of everything and has enemies on all sides in the government and ministries
Propaganda here is just “don’t worry guys there is law, order, and progress! Only those Ba’athist tyrants from before am I right?”
There’s a slow silent genocide one of the militias are committing on Sunni Muslims North of this country.
You know that got me thinking
If I see mfs still defending the Empire after this show is over I am gonna straight up just kill them GI Robot style
Has there been any example of propaganda in Star Wars where it’s just “Hey guys there’s progress” and in reality there’s nothing? Is there any of that here?
I mean the Imperial Senate is one big “hey guys your choices still matter and we can still work on things together”
Then the Emperor introduces a bill that helps the ISB crack down on insurgencies
All on his own without any votes in the Senate
I keep thinking of how the Empire will use any excuse to suppress people
Another detail I love is Mothma not wanting to finish repeating the oath in the Imperial Senate
Like how in Season 1, they were slowly killing Aldahni Culture because it minorly inconvenienced them building a Dam, and the Heist is the perfect excuse for them to spread that throughout the Empire as a whole
"Oh wow, the Ghost Crew used a Space Church to smuggle Melooruns? Looks like its religious persecution time!"
The heist was them mostly taking advantage of it to crack down on insurgency rather than snuffing out native cultures through ethnic cleansing
So Saw is now 60% mental illnesses 40% chemical abuse
He huffs gasoline he’s just like me fr

I'd have to find the quote, but Partagaz says something like "Any cultural aspect used to hide insurgent activity will be snuffed out"
I think that’s Yularen in the episode after the heist
I don’t remember the exact quote
Maybe you’re right yea
And since the Empire is more than willing to fake shit, I wouldn't be surprised if the ISB went out of its way to dismantle anything that isn't gargling Palpy's nutsack
I think it might be, hang on
I mean we are seeing it with Ghorman their culture is being heavily propagandised by the Empire
Eedy for example is a victim of propaganda when she criticises Syrill’s reassignment
She just like me fr
So was the infamous ghorman massacre the one they mentioned in the show, or is something bigger gonna happen?
She doesn’t believe the Empire is possible of reform but she’s still desperately trying her best to do it through politics and law
I should have known that Syril being empathetic was him faking it to draw out the Ghorman Front
The Legends version was canonised as the first one, the one mentioned in Rebels that happened later is the one that’s about to happen
That man got his dommy mommy by acting like Anakin Skywalker, he doesn't know what emotions are
God I love Syril so much in this
I think he's gonna die in the official ghorman massacre though
He is at the plaza in the trailers and clips
Me and the Bad Bitch I pulled by being submissive and breedable
Malewife
I kind of wish the Oathkeeper was Mas Amedda
However, I do like the Oathkeeper's design
Plus, the vocal performance was on the same level
Yeah can you imagine living in a country where they randomly added an oath they make you recite in like schools in stuff that's crazy
But I honestly would trade Bail Organa for Mas Ammedda in a heartbeat
I am kinda hoping Bail appears in more important moments in later episodes to justify the recast
Yeah
I can definitely see his death being what fucks with Dedra
I just remembered how much I liked him in Obi-Wan Kenobi
Cause I do think Dedra actually cares about him weirdly enough
If Bail is only in that one scene it is the most Glup Shitto moment the show has done and I think I'm fine with that
As fucked as both of them are as people they still do love each other in a weird sort of dynamic
She pegs him so I hope she does
bro knew where his place in the bedroom was
It’s evident she actually cares about him given how she is trying to protect him from his mother
And knows how much she’s impacting him negatively
What if Uncle Harlo was actually Luthen
I swear to God this was exactly how day-time Dubai looked like through the apartment window that my Uncle once lived in.
AYHAM IS SYRIL CONFIRMED???
Arab Syril be like: Syria
I want him to be a dad bod “I know a guy” type man
Imagine if Uncle Harlo shows up and he's just Dean Norris
Just some random ass celebrity cameo
that would be so funny
Misread that as Daran Norris
Funny thing is Palptine is more of a puppet ruler according to the original novelization for Star Wars

"Heya Syril, come give your Uncle Harlo a hug eh heh heh heh"
If we never see Uncle Harlo in canon this us my headcanon for who he is
Yeah
Something I did realize in this new batch of episodes is that Gorst is horrifyingly young
Or at least his baby face makes him look like a younger cast member
It may just be me, but it does add another layer to Bix working up the grit to kill him
He looks like a European chud
Starts off being horrifying that Cassian shot a young Imperial for simply looking up them, now she's cooking Gorst
It's one of Trump's kids
Rodent
Dude didn’t even remember who she was until it was too late 😭
Killing him was her mission, right? She didn’t do it on her own terms?
The fact that the moment he came home she was like "alright sweetie, turn out the lights it's time for our allotted hour of sex"
Saw huffing gasoline was not on my bingo card
What’s that anime meme about the tough woman who says like “I’m..horny and need you to satisfy me immediately” with reluctance?
The wha

I only saw the edits. I think one was with Wario
crazy if we dont see bothan spies in andor season 2
Does anyone else find it weird that there's a Ghorman massacre that isn't The Ghorman massacre?
Does there need to be just one defining massacre
To be fair the one that happened before happened earlier in the Imperial era
Before there were major insurgencies
So it could have been the catalyst to the formation of the Ghorman Front
And it sounds like at least according to the behind the scenes video we are about to see the Empire tear the planet apart which will have an even wider chain of events
It’s the main event of the season that’s for sure
Shit is about to hit the fan next week
It just seems a bit messy, that it's something that happened early empire that kinda just gets glossed over
In Legends sure
It’s going to be the arc that ends on a horrible note, so that Cassian and Mon are anchored to go fully for the rebellion in the last arc
But the Empire is about to skullfuck a Planet for resources that actually has a voice and can burn brightly like Luthen says if it goes to shit
If The ghorman massacre is the big thing that gets Mothma to leave the empire, isn't it silly to have a previous one she didn't care about?
I actually don't remember if she brought it up in Season 1
I mean it wasn’t glossed over a monument was built and people still talk about it, and Mon Mothma spent an entire season caring about the Ghormans in the Senate
fair
In the behind the scenes video (which yall should totally watch) it also explains that it was a pivotal point at which many of the Ghormans decided to rebel themselves
As I said it’s probably why the Ghorman Front even formed in the first place
It would also be stupid for Mothma to do something as bold as she does that early into the formation of resistance
She would have nowhere to go
I like that Ghorman is the key way that we see the Privilaged taking action against the Empire because they're starting to feel the pinch for a change
Is the the first time we're hearing about this first ghorman massacre in canon?Canon?
Yes
I assume it was the one Mothma referred to in Rebels
But obviously this was before Andor
If it was, wouldn't she already have joined the rebellion?
The canon one thus far happens in 2BBY
officially
The legends one happened much earlier
My brain is starting to heat from trying to figure this out
No that one is the one that’s about to happen
Ohhh
Because in Rebels Mon Mothma declares the Rebellion in 2BBY
Next arc happens during 2BBY
Ohhhh
Fuck yes
I can wait for Mon Mothma to the Emperor to kill himself
Then divorce her husband
And then make the Rebellion
In that order
The Mon Mothma speech in the Senate against the Emperor is my most anticipated moment in the entire season
Because that’s when the Alliance to Restore the Republic officially forms
This is assuming the riot in the show is good to be named the Ghorman massacre
I’ll assume it would officially be called the Second Ghorman Massacre in the lore
Like the Riot on Ferrix was also a pretty big event given how many people died but not a lot of things happened other than Luthen bringing Cassian in as an operative
Probably because it’s an Outer Rim planet and people in the Senate don’t really care about those
mothma speech that forms the alliance happens on the ghost though.
I mean the one in the Senate where she scolds Palpatine
Not the declaration of the Rebellion
Before she gets evacuated from Coruscant she gets declared a traitor in the Senate for denouncing the Emperor
The first one is the Tarkin Massacre, the second one is the Ghorman Massacre
Wookiepedia says the first one happened in 19BBY
Shortly after the formation of the Empire
This, but he's dressed like the origonal Jabba in the scene that was cut from a new hope with the big fur jacket.
YESSSSS
Tony Gilroy explains in an interview
K2 is a hard prop to bring in
Takes a lot of space
And hard to incorporate into these earlier scenes
Which is why he doesn’t show up until the latter of the show
Wrong droid
YAY HE'LL BE HERE SOON
K2?
They left him on Mina-Rau😞
At least people there will take care of him
Maybe Wilmon's ex
I wanna see Wilmon blow up more Imps
If you told someone in 2016 "oh yeah they're making a spin off for that Andor guy, but K2 isn't going to be in like 3/4 of it" they'd flip
I’m waiting for when the season fully releases but I think I’m already liking the main plot of S2 more than 1, and it being kinda structured more as a web/bush of events and characters going towards a single point (Ghorman) rather than one point escalating an entire plot of the ISB looking for Cassian and Luthen while they’re increasing activity on Ferrix
You know this room must have been going fucking crazy when cal single handly raided a isb station and killed like half of everybody on board
Can’t believe Cal killed the entire space irs
I feel like they should have showed it
They messed up bad. They could have had Tarkin land the ship on the protestors and his stormtroopers burst out and start going crazy killing everyone. Probably would be too dark for the so called “adult show” but would have felt much more impactful than a couple of random ghormans getting killed and stormtroopers still missing their shots and getting beat in hand to hand combat 😭
I kind of agree with that take
While I think the Ghorman Massacre is more impactful because they don't show it, they're gonna have to do a lot to make it distinct from the Ferrix Riot
Less is more
I mean the clips show it turns into somewhat of a skirmish and TIE fighters get involved
I dont need constant action but the times they show action hit hard
When Saw killed that traitor
Btw am I the only one who struggles to learn anyones name
I cannot deny Andor is the inverse of most shows where it gets better with each rewatch.
Yeah
We are also reminded time and time again that Ghorman isn’t just some backwater planet like Tattooine, thousands of people getting killed from a peaceful protest that escalated is going to be big
Given how visceral the Ferrix Riot was I don’t doubt this will be 10x more intense
Two Bell Tower Fights
I wish that Mon Mothma and Perrin had met Jar Jar instead of Bail
"Representative Binks, what are you doing here?"
"Meesa sayin' hapi day toosa the new Seneta! Itsa the lastn one meesa has for the Season!"
Imagine Jar Jar meeting Krennic
"Ah Representative Binks. The Emperor has told me good things about you."
"Muy muy! Meesa hearin' yousa bombad builder!"
Now I want to rewrite Season 2 just to include Jar Jar in the Mon Mothma scenes
Jar jar is the key to all of this
I unironically want to see Jar Jar in a live action project again
I remember when leakers were saying he was gonna be in Kenobi and I was actually excited
Best we can do is Fortnite Darth Jar Jar
I'd like to see how Jar Jar deals with the impact of unknowingly aiding the fall of democracy and to give a joke character some actual depth
“I was very, very pretty” actual Andor quote
I forgot to mentioned that Krennic says the Emperor wants to give people "Unlimited Power" and I lost it
He just like me with Prequel memes
Palpatine mumbles it often
“With this new chair I have unlimited power over my comfort”
“I put him in episode 6 in an arbitrary way so people will get the conversation out of the way until the next week when he really starts to work.”
The funny thing is that he honestly does look like a older Bail
He does but Jimmy was in Rogue One as Bail
It’s gonna be a bit weird going from Andor to Rogue One
It’s okay we once went from Terrence Howard in Iron Man to Don Cheadle in Iron Man 2
This is nothing
Light work
I never really realised how much time and effort goes into star wars set design until the fucking grocery shopping scene.
Cause like yeah, of fucking course they need to designs completely new foods and packaging for the background.
They can't just throw in random stuff from a actual store.
And it needs to have all the right and unique labeling
I’m glad it wasn’t just for a cameo
I was thinking about that during the cafe scene
That shit was impressive
All the architecture details for one scene is crazy
Until we get the fanmade depfake of Jimmy Smitts
The “fixed version”
Please no more deepfakes or I’ll kill myself
Just watch the James Bond movies and get used to changing actors
They went from Connery to Lazenby back to Connery FFS
Basically the original one took place in the EU in 18 BBY. The one that was referenced in Rebels was meant to be a reference to that event, but Filoni fucked up the time and forgot that it happened way earlier.
So Andor cleared this up by making the original legends Ghorman massacre still a thing, and using it to set up the one the recent one that mon mothma talks about in Rebels
Essentially Gilroy cleaned up Filoni’s mess
Honestly I too would massacre Ghormans twice now that I know they are just space Fr*nch people
I mean, Mandalorians have been fucked over repeatedly
It really wasn't a fuck up.
The show literally just referenced the event and used it as a plot point for mothma leaving the senate. It was never supposed to be literally the same event
Gilroy isn't fixing shit
He's just referencing the original, while keeping true to the vagueness of the references in rebels
I swear to god people in this server are so fucking bad faith when it comes to filoni, it's not even funny
Just kinda sad
Are they just French? Sounded like a hybrid
They're language is i think said to be a mix of German and French?
It’s a made up language that uses a lot of French phonotactics and phonology
Yeah I detected some German-isms. Twi-Leks should remain the main French race
Yeah but they're hot and I don't like accosting hot people with the French
Counterpoint: they make it tolerable
Do not tell me Hera slipping into her native accent isn’t hot as fuck
Yeah but that's hot despite the French aspect
It adds a spice
Idk about vagueness, it was pretty clear it took place recently if she left the senate because of it. That’s where it was weird and sorted by Gilroy
BUT IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAME EVENT FROM LEGENDS
It was a nod to it
Gilroy just made both versions canon. That's not him fixing anything
Its just expanding upon it
The event in question is the empire brutally killing innocents, that’s why it was referenced.
And yes that’s what I’m saying, Gilroy expanded on it lol and doing more for an initially odd timeline switch up
It didn’t feel odd in Rebels
jesus christ
The timeline wasn't even remotely odd
Because the massacre in legends and the massacre in rebels were never intended to be the same.
IT WAS A NOD TOO IT
How were they not meant to be the same?
BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A REFERENCE
Are you saying Filoni made up his own ghorman massacre or referenced the legends one? Like you’re saying 2 things at once?
Its both
It can be both, he made it the same event in name but the difference is when it happened and what happened
That’s really it
Tony Gilroy now makes both versions canon
It his own ghorman massacre, which exists as a nod to the original in legends. And as a plot device to have mothma form the alliance
That’s not how it seemed to me initially. What I’m saying is Filoni seemed to make his own interpretation of that event and moved it up in the timeline
And Gilroy made both canon to make them both work in the story
But that's literally not what you were saying
The first one that Tarkin did is now used as a catalyst for the birth of rebel activity in Ghorman
You were saying filoni fucked up and gilroy fixed his mistake.
When it wasn't even a mistake in the first place
Yes, filoni took a stretch in timelines and Gilroy cleared it up more
That’s all I said it’s not that big a deal
Why is it a “stretch in timelines”
There was nothing to clear up 😭
Like, I don’t understand what is inherently wrong with it happening in 2BBY in canon?
Seemingly placing an event that happened in the original continuity 16 years before to 2BBY
But it’s been established that both events are canon. Clear up as in expanded on lol
Keyword in seemingly
Because it’s not the case now as both are canon
And why is putting the event in 2BBY a “mistake” or inherently wrong
When the original event didn’t exist in canon up until Andor
I misworded a bit, moreso I just thought it was weird, but it’s not now so it’s fine
YOU LITERALLY SAID FILONI MADE A MISTAKE AND FUCKED UP. WHICH GILROY FIXED
That's incredibly specific wording
In the wise words of Krennic from this arc “words do still mean something”
Not here apparently
Dawg it’s not that big of a deal why you getting so mad about it
As the Number 1 Filoni slanderer, why is he being brought up here lmao
I hate Filoni but even this is just him catching strays
Like criticise him for shit he actually did wrong we don’t need to pull reasons out our asses
Because I hate stupid arguments
I wasn’t even arguing in the first place
You made a stupid claim
Bitch that’s our bread and butter
This is pretty common here though
Like people are always jumping on filoni when he's not even involved in shit
They would kiss
Sentinel would top. Not just because he’s like 30ft tall either
Nah sentinel a bottom regardless of the context
I was also just asking in general lmao
None of this was aimed at you
I dunno
I used the incorrect wording, anyway I’d rather move on now
Word things more carefully next time
Over Krennic??
Because apparently filoni lives rent free in like half the server head
Let's talk about how Tales of the Jedi had been renewed for a second season!
Brutha it’s not that big of a deal
Don't you mean a third season
Maybe
So funny that it's getting a early release in fucking fortnite
Tales of the Rebellion next year too probably
Why couldn't they have done that with andor
I was about to ask when are we getting Tales of the Empire because I'm dumb
Hey get out. I've already claimed the prediction of tales of the rebellion. I even thought it was the next one instead of underworld
Tales of the rebellion. We see Luthen become black pilled
We need Tales of the ISB
I hope they don’t touch Andor stuff with Tales of the Rebellion
Tales of the IBS
I read that as ibs for a second and was like. That's a very different thing
And Tales of the Guild so Boba can come back heck they can do Greef Carga too
Tales of the Banking Clan
If they do tales of the rebellion it should be about the rogue squadron pilots
Tales of the rebellion will 100% just be split between sabine and ahsoka and a notable rebel.
Tales of Tales
Tales of the break room at Lucasfilm
Bring Tycho from the X-Wing books back into canon and show his backstory for why he defected (it’s cooked)
Not Ahsoka again
She’s everywhere
Tales of the droids
Tales of the New Republic
Okay last one, Tales of the Gungans
Tales of the Droids and it’s just Ahsoka related droid. Probably like Huyang
Wait nah
Dave Filoni and Ahsoka
Tales of the droids and do HK-47
Tales of the uhhh…Wookiees
Bring back the GOAT
Tales of the Pee Pee Poo Poo
NO WAIT THAT WAS IT.
My prediction for tales of the rebellion was a sabine story and something with omega after she joined the alliance
We need characters that haven’t been touched in a while
Dawg we have a whole animated series of Hera in the rebellion
Tales of Rex. He finally dies an old man
At the ripe clone age of 25
People who say “but we have had Vader for 6 movies” then they turn around and say this
Plus bad batch
SHE WAS IN ONE EPISODE
Yeah
We need more focus on other characters
Good age to die
Wedge Antilles and the other Rogue Squadron pilots. Forget all the other rebels characters, do these guys
I mean tbf. We haven't actually seen much of hera during the movies time frame.
Outside of some comics
Finally someone with some sense
And they can canonise Tycho Celchu too
FILONI! MAKE A HERA SYNDULLA SHOW, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!
I would love to see tales of the banking clan
They can make it be a slow burn
Fuck you
turns wedge into a rebels character
I don't want any of those other bozos in it besides Chopper
He’s a tie pilot who defects to the rebellion because the Empire blew up Alderaan (his homeworld) on his literal birthday while he was on call to his family who were on the planet
Okay but
Hear me out
Boba in tales of the guild
They wreaked him bad in his live action show
No
He became a joke
Tales of the Gungans, because y’all can’t behave
We need boss Nass
Wedge sucked so bad in that episode
Hobby you still with me?
I wonder what people are talking about in the Andor thread
Already an improvement
No Booster Terrik, nothing about his goated original backstory
We should talk about mpreg clearly.
Who's more likely to get pregnant. Cassian, krennic or luthen
Syrill mpreg
Like they had all the opportunity to work with X-Wing but they did nothing with it
I think Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter should have uncensored gay sex in Tales of the Rebellion
Commissioning Masterbuilt for a sticker
Maybe Dedra freaking out is because Syril dies while pregnant with their child
He got pregnant in the most recent episodes
It’s Andor’s state-mandated realistic panic attack
Syril immediately becomes pregnant at the thought of sex
You know I’m genuinely excited to see how the show sets up the status quo for Rogue One
Isn't the last arc literally supposed to lead directly into cassian first scene in rogue one.
Like there's shots of him in the exact same outfit he wears when he kills the dude
Yes
Can you prove Luthen isn’t already?
Given how Andor is killing off characters in each arc, who’s more likely to bite the dust next?
I’m pretty sure the next arc’s main beats are Luthen dying, Ghorman massacre, Mothma escaping (idk how they’ll tie it to Secret Cargo we’ll see) and probably the establishment of the Yavin 4 base
Luthen
Without a doubt
Yavin 4 being established is the one thing rebels didn't show. So i assume we'll see it.
Also I think i remember hera being there for it?
Luthen
The rebels were still broadly acting out of Atollon though until thrawn did a funny
I think Syril might bite the dust next arc
Last arc was him creating rifts in people’s relationships because he prefers his operatives to be split for higher efficiency, this made Cassian, Bix, Vel and Mon angry at him, his methods are slowly fading into obscurity and it’s tine to stop being in the shadows
Theory on how he might die?
Luthen literally needs to die, because his style doesn't mesh with the alliance
Personally I think cassian will kill him
I think Luthen will go last
There’s scenes of Dedra in his shop
But it could also be Cass
That could possibly be Dedra’s own death
I can see luthen killing himself. Dedra corners him in the shop, and he just fucking blows it up
He gets sold out by the Rebellion like how he did to Kreegr
Possibly because Mothma is a better leader than him
Especially since Bail Organa isnt at his full power since Jimmy Smitts is missing
Bail at 1% of power
I mean we did see her choking in the trailer, so it’s a slight possibility
But at the same time, I don’t think so cuz Andor is not a Filoni show, so it’s not carried by it’s cameos
It’s also interesting around 2BBY is when Leia becomes the Senator if Alderaan in Bail’s place
Clearly syril mother is a sith lord and she kills dedra for pegging her son and giving him a backbone
Do we think Kleya is gonna die too? Or will she live going into the rebellion
This arc had me stressing for both luthen and kleya
I firmly believe every character that isn’t in the OT or Rogue One is dead meat
I wonder if Kleya will turn on Luthen
Even Bix 😭
I think kleya very clearly sick of luthen shit and wouldn't put it past her if he really goes over the edge
I only don't want Bix to make it so she doesn't have to outlive Cassian and live with being the last one left
Wilmon gonna die 💔my goat
I still choose to believe luthen dies from a heart attack after seeing a meiloorun, left in his shop by chopper
Klaus relates to Wilmon because he used to sniff markers in school
Huff gasoline*
If they don't want us huffing toxic fumes. Then they shouldn't make it smell so good
Then why huff shaped 😔
In Rogue One he tells Jyn: “You’re not the only one who lost everything”
This line is the one that leads me to believe he will in fact lose everyone
So what’s the deal with Filoni, am I right?
Worse than Satan or something
Idk but Gilroy is mogging the shit out of him
I feel like everytime filoni mentioned i should legally be allowed to kill a server member at random
does dave filoni have a mini cowboy hat for his penar
Conwboydom
That's just his foreskin
He has a special one for his wolf fursuit
Ikr? He’s so poggers
Cad Bane's dick has a flap that folds out that resembles his wide brim hat like a dilophosaurus
Thought the “he was right” part was gonna be in reference to him saying Andor acolytes won’t shut the fuck up if you’re a Star Wars fan who decides to just stop watching Andor for not enjoying it
Lmao
Tales of I ship Lonnie and Kleya
Lonnie would definitely ask her to step on him
The sexual tension between Monthma and Krennic had me on the edge of my seat
🥣 wish he had half of his aura
Ghosts of Geonosis" is the first Star Wars Rebels episode to air after the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, allowing it to tie directly into the feature film. In doing so, the production team chose to introduce Saw Gerrera to the show. The character was originally introduced in the fifth season of the television series Star Wars: The Clo...
I've noticed how differently Saw is portrayed here in SW Rebels, and its interesting because this was done as Rogue One came out
They seemed to be trying to make him more alike his TCW self
Beautiful
After rewatching the Prequels, it made me think that its honestly kind of wild that Andor was able to be as successful as it was
Like, obviously there's the fact that its well written is the reason why people like it
But its just wild that a very political Star Warsr story was so popular when the last time this happened the fanbase actively turned on it
This is because the politics and political themes in Andor are way better executed and written
Yeah
I'll never understand how "too political" was a common complaint about the prequels
Because Star Wars fans are stupid
There's so many things to be irritated by with those movies and having too many political scenes are not one of em
Writing a story about how an Empire rises from a corrupt Republic is inherently political idk what they expect
It honestly feels like people were just upset that it wasn't mindless action like the Original Trilogy
Which is weird cause they had more mindless action 😭
The only one that really felt like it had to have that was Attack of the Clones because its the weak link
Star Wars fans when they learn the word empire is a term for a type of government and not just a made up space term
Like, I think the Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith have a good balance of story and action
But with Attack of the Clones action just happens after the plot flounders for a bit
I think they had good enough action, I just think it often was a little mindless
Like the pod race is cool and all, not much actually happens in it. Grievous and Obi-Wan's fight is dope, but aside from just generally separating him and Anakin it is just kinda another drawn out fight scene
Course what you can consider necessary action is gonna vary from person to person
The point of the podracing scene was establishing that Anakin was actually a good pilot, especially since later on a much more important scene hinges on the audience understanding this
The Prequels' politics and overall story are honestly interesting to me, corrupt government officials and empire building and what not. Giving away liberties in case of emergency to a bastard who manipulated very thing to his advantage. The audience can see the rise of an empire but the people in the movies can't.
It’s now a complaint I hear people say about the sequels
I was about to say "what politics" but then I remembered that its just them complaining about the lead being a woman
Yeah “identity politics” or whatever
Like, I guess the Sequels are political but its once again subtext like in the Original Trilogy or whatever the hell TLJ was
And I guess people were upset about it being pointed out that war profiteering is bad
And animals should be saved
I mean, saving the animals instead of the child slaves was certainly a choice
Kids suck
lol
Yeah and isn't that true of like...all the OT's action scenes? Like they're pretty much all built around set up and pay off, either in terms of character traits, establishing how things function in universe, or just generally moving the story along.
I just don't know what's mindless action then
Eh
I honestly don't care
At this point, I brings me great joy to channel my frustration about the franchise back onto the Original Trilogy
Out of all things the OT
Ngl the OT also has its issues
Luke just casually knowing how to pilot better than most of the professional pilots 💔
Why not the OT
Or Leia showing no real emotion towards the fact her home planet literally was blown up
It is really funny that out of all the Star Wars protagonists, Anakin is actually the most established Pilot
This is why I never understood the criticism aimed at Rey for being good at things when Luke could do this too
I was literally thinking that 😭
Luke and Rey really were just like "Yeah guys I really am a good pilot, trust me!"
I'm not too familiar with Rey I haven't watched TLJ or TROS and I haven't watched TFA in a good while.
But this is an issue I had with Luke
Since
Uhhhhhhh
I had conciousness I guess
Tbf rey also like, never claimed she was a good pilot. Just that she could fly a ship
The point is to showcase that average people often times have more talent than they give themselves credit for. Laborers understand mechanics and are generally more physically skilled than bureaucrats.
Not to mention Luke said he wanted to go to the fight academy because clearly he's been consciously training to be a pilot
And Obi-Wan comments that he's aware Luke is a talented pilot
And Luke says he practices by racing through canyons and shooting womprats
Personally, the Original Trilogy are good films but the Expanded Universe and the Prequels were the main things that hooked me into Star Wars. So its incredibly frustrating that the Franchise has the capacity to create really interesting and unique stories but settles for cashing in on people's nostalgia for three films just because its the things people are the most familiar with.
That’s not the OT’s fault
Rey also gives you some visual storytelling on the fact she likes pilots.
Obviously expanded media explained that she had a simulator.
But you see her knowledge of ships in her first scene, then at her home you see she has a doll of a rebel pilot and throws a physical one on for the hell of it.
Like, yeah, the Original Trilogy as a time period is capable of producing good stuff amidst the slop: we are in the Andor thread after all. But I'm just sick of the five million Original Trilogy products we get every year and then maybe as a afterthought we'll get Prequel, Sequel or High Republic content.
Still, that’s not the fault of the actual movies but the executives at Disney/Lucasfilm
They’re the universally loved movies for a reason
Clerks Animated Series (George Lucas). Court Scene
Its hard to say high republic and afterthought. When it's been 99% of the publishing stuff for the last like 5 years
Like legitimately, the main reason why we haven't gotten many standalone books lately. It's because the high republic is taking up almost all of the publishing spots and has been the main focus
There should just be one Star Wars product per year tbh
Hopefully know that the high republic over. We start getting more new republic and sequel trilogy books. Like we did before the high republic started
I would like one Bo Katan book please
Like, let literally anybody other than the Mandoverse writers handle her
Pipe Dream is that the GOAT Charles Soule gets to write about her
Problem is that that’s a deleted scene
He does say that he wants to go to the Imperial Academy in the final film
But I don't think he says specifically that he wants to go into the Fighter Corps
Just that he wants to join them to get offworld
No? He has a whole conversation with Owen about how he promised he'd be able to go the academy
Oh I didn't scroll down enough
lmao
That is fair he doesn't specifally say flight academy
My curse is that I have too much Star Wars tism to not be able to know scenes when the show up
The Book of Bo-Katan
And then Din steals some chapters
I think everyone here knows the entire Skywalker Saga by heart at this point
But yeah Luke makes it very clear that he's a pilot and a talented one both by his metrics and by the judgement of people around them
It's really funny that Anakin's the only Star Wars character that does the show don't tell when it comes to his piloting skills
He used to bullseye womp rats like a serial killer in his T-16 ship back home
“It’s just like Beggar’s canyon back home”
He does, and I'll give you that it is telling not showing. I imagine Lucas didn't really have the budget to add in a Luke pilot sequence, and even if he did it could be seen as unnecessary in the long run.
And then the canon comics show Luke was flying that thing at like age 12 lol
Yeah he sucks. I’m glad he died.
In the final battle he had to get saved by Wedge, and later Han
What really saved him was his subconscious use of the Force
He was no better than any of the other ragtag pilots there
I think its really funny that the Thrawn Trilogy makes better use of the OT cast's skills than the films do
Anakin in TPM was about the same he wasn’t really flying good he mostly just had luck
Yeah like Luke making hot chocolate
Luke being a good pilot and a good Jedi are both used equally well, Han having a background in the criminal underworld is major driving force instead of just him owing Jabba money, and Leia actually gets to do stuff in politics instead of just being Han's love interest
I was gonna say, the final battle is very reliant on Anakin just having really good luck, but I think the pod-race was a good showcase of Anakin's talent
I see both TPM’s and ANH’s final battle in the same way because both protagonists weren’t as good as their fellow pilots they were just lucky
Somewhat related, people who say EU Luke is unrelatable are crazy
Anakin's is better because Luke doesn't say "I'll try spinning, that's a good trick!"
That man literally spends all of his 20s doing wild side quests and trying and failing, over and over
Luke doesn’t really get a moment in the OT to showcase his piloting skills outside of the Hoth battle and even there he crashes after getting shot, he mostly uses his X-Wing to get from point a to b
EU Luke is the definition of your 20s
Thrawn Trilogy Luke is ideally what he should have been in the Sequels and while I get the appeal of jaded Luke I think he's boring
I just love that Luke's idealisim is one of his main character traits and its really cool how Zahn uses it
Ehhh Thrawn trilogy Luke's overall characterisation is closer to the OT
NJO Luke should have been an overall basis for the ST's Luke
The good part is both NJO Luke and TLJ Luke are characterised the same, just different circumstances and events in their life influence their outcome
Btw we should switch to the main SW chat its getting a bit off topic now lol
It’s not that big of a deal but yeah
These threads sometimes just devolve into the general SW channel
Chat is this Canon?
Yeah lol he went to jail for a few years for it
LMAO
Don't know who that is but it tracks
God I hate Nerdrotic
I wish he, Den of Nerds, and SWT would be shot out into space
The whole reason being was his strong connection to the force
He still needed help
litteraly had his whole team wiped out
First time I hear of this, the only alternative version I know is that it was pressure from big distribution in the US.
I vaguely recall someone asking Lego, and an official comment said “no it was changed at Disneys request.”
Uhh.
@glass lichen What’s with the reactions to that post?
Jack Evans alt?
Nah Jack doesn’t use new emotes typically
I mean given his profile banner I have a feeling he’s… you know…
He’s a classic hater, that Jack
Don't feed the trolls
Should have used the Palpatine one instead
By that logic I should call you a troll for your banner
Time to get back on topic, I personally feel that B2’s story does not have a satisfying conclusion and I doubt they will go back to wrap it up
If I had nitro i would make that my banner lmao
When I had Nitro my banner was the best thing ever especially when others clicked on my profile
B2 didn’t really have much of a story to conclude
He just gets forgotten and nobody brings it up or anything, they can’t even do a scene of him waiting outside like Hatchiko hoping Andor will one day come. Man that would hit hard
Vader just standing there
They explained that he will be taken care of
I don't think that there's much that B2 could realistically do in Season 2 besides die
Doesn’t hurt to do so. I mean it wouldn’t take hardly any screen time
It’s not that, it’s more so him being brushed off
Brasso parted ways with him before the Empire stared searching the farm
The Ferrix characters who are still alive have a lot more depth this time around
Are we forgetting Brasso literally comforted B2 before they all left??
When I had nitro on my old alt my banner used to be this
Lmao
Me personally I would enjoyed one final scene of him waiting for Andor so when we factor rogue one, we can leave it up to imagination where B2 is waiting for Andor who is never coming back
Not at all
I think that’s a nice wrap-up for an otherwise minor character
Like, pretty much every Ferrix character had the same level of characterization in the first one, but now Bix and Wilmon have been elevated to secondary protagonists
Especially Bix
Yeah
I think B2 living with Brasso's wife is a good ending but I do feel like Cassian should have gotten to say goodbye to him again
Because I feel like even though he'll live a nice life, he's still gonna be waiting for Cassian
But also that feels like its the show's intention
I guess I just personally see andor as a little tame for it being hyped up as dark and sad
*that B2 is going to be waiting for Cassian again forever
Well Andor is less about show don’t tell and more about don’t show or tell just hint
Which I feel creates less emotion for me
Felt nothing when brasso died I was like oh
That's fair
And character names are hardly mentioned to the point where I feel I don’t remember their names hardly
Brasso's death hit for me because he's one of the only good people in the show so their absence is felt
I like that form of conveying information because it feels like the show isn’t talking down to you or insulting your intelligence
Oh I see
Like, I don't doubt that doing a Season 1 rewatch really close to Season 2 coming out is helping with the emotional moments land better
Yes I did that actually
I felt more when Kuil died ironically
And he had less screen time
Brasso is frequently shown how much he cares about his people in season 1 and how he is as a person
We are shown his connection with Cassian
This is why his death hits hard
I wasn't disputing that
I think also because it happened off screen
I was just commenting why I might have felt more when Brasso died while the other guy didn't
