they only include weapons, medical, and SCP items though, since the upgrade path for keycards is well-known

if you're patient enough you can turn any gun into any other gun

so you can get a logicer early in the game >:)

the only issue with getting a logicer is that you need to stop by the armory and get most of the ammo in it for it to be vaguely useful

and also since you are only facing guards early game you only need an e11 at most, which you don't need to use 914 to get ammo for since it's all over the facility

Tarkov is currently living through a difficult state of development, when a solid amount of players has become familiar enough with the game to not accept further changes. What makes it difficult is the fact that the game is nowhere close to completion, so every single balance and gameplay change, as well as a good bunch of new additions, will receive heavy backlash because it drives the game closer to devs' vision, changes current meta and forces players to adapt, again and again. Then this backlash forces devs to take actions, either revert changes, adjust them to the point where they no longer fit their original purpose, or delay them for a "better" moment which obviously will never come. Either way, developing Tarkov seems like an uphill battle at this point

I can't say for myself because I haven't played Tarkov in a good while, and didn't really play for long; but seems like karma wasn't well-received because it actually forced players to think before shooting, and also didn't let you shoot in the first place. Considering how Scavs are mostly a loot-gathering tool, I don't see anything wrong with restricting it appropriately, but people want to go shoot stuff I suppose
