If I had to guess, it’s getting the code for the hl1 and hl2 shotguns mixed up.

• both models are called v_shotgun.mdl iirc
• he doesn’t pump it because the naming of the hl2 shotgun’s animations are probably different
• he doesn’t exit the reloading pose after the 6th shell bc of a mixup in the mag capacity of the two guns. The hl2 shotgun holds 6 rounds and the hl1 shotgun holds 8. The gun reaches 6 shells, game knows to stop reloading, but game doesn’t know to exit the reload animation yet
