I think I like slower-firing smgs better than guns with extremely high fire rates
Stuff like the ppsh and thompson I can control fairly well
Guns with higher fire rates like the P90 and FAMAS work better with short bursts for me, at least at a distance

Not much reason to shoot them at distance though, those guns have a high damage falloff (which you can see by equipping a damage/health analyser and hitting at different distances) so I don't think there is a point, just hip-fire in CQB

I think it only works for the first few seconds and then enters cooldown, so you can basically just shoot once and go behind cover so disable enemy's shield. It also has a set amount of HP (depending on the tier), so theoretically you can just brute-force through it, but that requires some great firepower
Also, the first hit doesn't get blocked by the shield, so you can instantly kill the enemy with a one-shot weapon, if you have one

Also, here's a clip that clearly shows how shield blessing works: first hit went into the enemy and activated the shield, it absorbed quite a few bullets, but then either ran out of time or got its health depleted, after which I managed to put a few more shots into the guy

A normal regen blessing seems like a better choice for me just because it's passive, though it has a slower healing rate

Those end-game fights in the last circle are probably the most epic ones, people with good guns and powerful blessings just run around and shoot each other, don't even take cover as much
It usually settles down when the last survivors finally get in their corners to heal up their wounds, but actions before that are really cool to watch

I always have the worst class/loadout when it shows up in some critical mission area and my team doesn't make/use trenches or walls. That and the healing pod flies off to some godforsaken isolated room that the driller has to get to
The weed never shows up when im gunner or driller
in this case it was near the beginning of the mission so we had no nitra and had to get past it without dying

I've not met many weeds though, and most of the time my team isn't playing hazard level 5.
So I guess I don't know much about them.
I've mainly played liquid extractions and escorts as of recent.
So that maybe explains why I don't see them.

and since they buffed it it's no longer a pain to friendlies
but the hallway needs to be big enough for a bulk to get into, otherwise it might dig a hole into the bunker

Basically, you have to escape with the painting/ARG plaque on your HUD.
Opening your inventory or pressing E while having the painting makes it disappear, so basically you can't open any doors.
However, you can still take some item (like a gun or a medkit) in your hand and use it, as pressing LMB doesn't make the picture disappear.
The challenge starts as soon as you get the painting/plaque on your HUD, and ends as soon as you escape with it. You can start it whenever you want during the round, and also restart it many times during the round. The only requirement is to bring the painting to the escape zone.

There is also a sniper version, with much slower overall firerate but a 5-rounds burst instead of a 3-rounds one. Got it during a Sniper only round, bit of a shame that it uses Small ammo which doesn't spawn during that event, so I only had 12 shots basically

Yeah, my teammate had it in that last clip. It works, but its 2-rounds burst mode is kinda pointless as the firerate of it is slow and you can't aim at the target before the second shot. You basically waste two bullets for only 1 possible hit per shot
It might work better with weapon mastery? And it also has a natural advantage in CQB over bolt-action rifles in this sniper-only mode, but there is not much point when there's a semi-auto Barret that also spawns in that same event
