Im going to be honest with you. Across all servers I play the main variation is, SCP's kill d class + scientists, anyone that survives gets gunned down, SCP's fight them until nuke goes off, and then more spawn waves come in to clean up the SCP's who have no chance past that point unless they act smart and fast. SCP SL's variation for me isnt great until they update some major shit after every scp rework, unless that stuff is updated with the SCP's. Any players other than the ones on brights for me are either kinda boring, or so much of a jerk to the extent at which it's just arguing. Bright's has compromise between it. That's why I play there, because it has personality

I literally worked on and was a core part of 096's rework. I wanted EVERY SCP to be evadable through some methodology. 096 is meant to be a complete menace and a snowball effect, and must trick people into looking at his face. However, the ability to evade him entirely by looking at the floor is entirely intentional. Not only is it lore-accurate, it means that even a completely unarmed D-Class is not rendered helpless at this completely unstoppable force.

Eventually, MTF will have to try and kill 096, where he becomes really powerful. 096 can punish basically any aggression on him quickly and effectively, and there is nowhere you can hide or run he can't catch you. The idea of 096 was always to catch people by surprise and cause a snowball effect where he can end up wiping out entire groups of people in only one rage.

096 doesn't need, nor should it be, able to punish players for abiding by his rules. You obey the rules of 096, you don't die. You break the rules, he'll be coming for your ass soon.
