I'm not very good a drawing, but I have experience with photoshop. I'm trying to make concept art for this original character, Dwaino the Void Pirate. The shapes for the suit are almost done and I'll try shading them like I already did with the hands. After that I need to make some kind of sci-fi sub-machinegun in his hand. Since I'm not fully confident in my own concept art skills, I'll probably hand this over as reference to someone who is really good at developing interesting looking characters.

Although I might not be interested or have any idea what that character is, the texture of the face and shading is nice. The shape of the head is smooth and equal, same goes to the beard. It's nice; you have alot of potential with things like that.

@last wave Remember that metal is always at least a little rough, it shouldn't fully reflect light unless you are going for a mirror look, but that's Specular's job.
Basically if you want metal, just increase the principled metal value to either 1 or 0 (don't let it go in-between, it's unrealistic) and roughness to a reasonable value

Sheen is nice if you want that white light look on the sides of the metal, and Anisotropic is good for that circular light bend that's commonly seen under kitchen pans.

As a side note, metal objects always have a small bevel on the edges, which can be acomplished with either using the Bevel Modifier (Quick to render in most cases, but will create more faces on the object) or by using the Bevel BSDF shader in the material (Takes much longer to render, but can be baked onto the model and be used in games for a nice bevelled look without requiring more faces)
