Yep. If your lighting setup isnt enough (which is often the case everywhere for everyone) you might need to add a few lighting areas or spotlights. Point lights to bright up a bit those parts

Never do big contrasts and all those effects in rendering. Keep doing soft renders so you keep the model informations and details. You can do all of this at comp step.
