First : you don't simply hire people only because it looks good. That's a first step yes. But optimization is a part of it. Realtime has its limitation. Doing things in blender doesn't mean your work is gonna be 1:1 same looking in unity.
Second thing : if you think we take people to dev/make assets hoping they don't ask for money, you clearly have no idea of how game development works here.
We hire people for that and we pay them. No one is bypassing interviews because "volunteer".
