The reason it’s “speeding up” is caused by blender lagging.

To prevent that from happening, use Frame Dropping or Sync to Audio (latter is used if you have backing audio that needs to be synced, hence the name)
This will make Blender skip frames when playing back to keep up
speaking of catching up, 'bout to explode Blender with Cycles to render volumes

you're having trouble with keyframe interpolation?
click on timeline, CTRL+A, interpolation mode: bezier, handle type: automatic
interpolation is what decides the frames between keyframes, the settings you choose change the outcome wildly
internet speeds don't affect blender, it's a locally run program
if you render the animation is still lagging or is it just when in the editor?

Eevee is meant for quick and not overly complicated lighting setups so it's unlikely they will ever figure out how to make sims look good in them

Whatever I had on a google drive, the mtf had expressions and mouth movements with a nice rig, while the scientist had the most basic bonees, half of them were disconnected and had no IK, and had 0 face movements. Whoever ripped it and rigged it must’ve been real lazy.
