Freelancers in NW are in a bit of an odd spot. It'd be a hard sell when we have in-house artists

My advice to you would simply be to build your portfolio in the meantime

From what I can see, you've got a handle on the basics but I'd like to see your work elevated a bit

Assuming you're using substance painter, try learning how to make a highpoly onto a lowpoly for added detail

Generally, a viewmodel prop for SL should be around 15k tris. A highpoly/lowpoly bake helps add detail while saving on polycount

I'd also recommend using more references when modeling guns, to give them more acccurate width, and to better represent their materials

Hope this helps you going forward

Side note, including a sketchfab view of your model would help me take a better look at it from your artstation

I think Mikel said the essential. You're under 18 so we can't of course. But your work is interesting for your age. Artstation is an excellent portfolio itself, even in the industry so keep updating your work on it and keep the best work. Not too much.

About substance, try learning as much as possible for baking from hp. By reducing small details objects to normal, you can earn a lot more of polygons for round shapes and keep good looking. Keep working and dont hesitate to ask for comments and critics. Thats the best way to progress, even if its rude sometimes. You got some cool models but texs are a bit lacking of details. I'll recommend you to follow adobe substance channel on youtube and maybe artruism too, which is an excellent artist. She has incredible skills and tutorials.

Google something of a similar style like animal crossing
On the model itself:
first image:
Make ears straight like I marked it with magenta, that will also make the extrusion look better (blue).
From what I have seen, the froggy's torso is round so it should not bulge at the top like in your example - try to do the same on this model.

Magenta is for the arm, add a support edge loop and slide it towards the black line for a cleaner arm silhouette
Red is to highlight that the end of the arm is uneven - try to make it more cylindrical and straight
