It's actually quite unkown how many forms it can create from collected hosts as the mass is unpredictable both mentally and physicaly still having the very distinct attributes on every infected those attributes being: spines, orange pustules and fleshy flowers on the surface of the flesh (i haven't drawn the flowers in this instance because i couldn't draw flowers sorry :()
The crimson is able to smudge creatures inside it to grow in size and form although it doesn't gather the knowledge like the flood does all forms think independently and grow smarter as their experiences increase.

So they send the hunstman to do their job they are no stealth units in the slightest their looks scream trouble even the robe reads "this unit belongs to the fauntra empire, if you read this message don't engage into conflict. for your own safety we are not responsible for any type of harm inflicted to you. Do not dig in people's jobs. Stay safe" they are highly skillful trackers too they take the job of assasin and bounty hunter either for finding out highly valuable targets planet to planet and retrieving for custody or hostage of war or outright clearing an entire building worth of terrorists with just 3 dudes its safe to say they are not hiding anything.
The purpose of the robe is to hide weaknesses and features for not being read out and exploited easily otherwise they don't give a single fu-
