TF2 is one of those games where the skill ceiling is high in ways you can't fully comprehend until you get into a niche scenario where everything just clicks together.
I really need to properly learn sticky jumping for that reason (not the basic stuff, I mean advanced sticky jumping)

Sure the scenarios are rare, but sometimes you'll be put into a situation where this really niche backwards air strafe tactic lines up with any other random class you wouldn't think of air strafing with.

I honestly miss the old Your Eternal Reward, someone told me the best way to get good at Spy was to run the default Revolver, Your Eternal Reward and Cloak & Dagger.
Because of that, I really improved as a Spy player. Even taught me how to wrangle sentries since you don't have immediate access to Disguises and decloaking takes just long enough that sentries can kill you if you don't account for it.

I'm saddened because in my opinion, they ruined Your Eternal Reward.

You can now disguise on semi-command by consuming a full cloak meter, and on top of that Your Eternal Reward causes you to drain Cloak faster, so you have to run L'Etranger to offset it.

They made Your Eternal Reward more noob friendly, but reduced its usefulness at the same time.
