My recommendation is that he either gains some additional movement speed and resistance—such as damage reduction or bullet evasion—otherwise, forget about duelling humans; even sending him to take on SCPs would be pure fantasy.

Not everyone uses them, and I won't even mention overseas servers—I'm talking about my own country. On our community servers, many weapon attributes have been tweaked, though the adjustments aren't drastic and rarely affect damage output. When 127 first arrived at the facility, it felt quite satisfying to play. But later on, I distinctly noticed it wasn't as powerful as before, with damage output significantly reduced. Even at level two, the increase was barely noticeable.

Removing the ability to grenade elevators isnt good, its a technique people have developed over the entire course of SCP SL.
I understand that new players would be hit by it a fair bit, and would get annoyed.
But i think that justifies a nerf, not removing the entire feature - even something like tweaking the grenade radius so it doesnt reach the back of the elevator would work.
I also dont get why you can no longer trap SCP's or people in 914, that was a HUGE part of the game. And it wasnt even that detrimental.
If the SCP's have an 079 or 096 on their team they can just open it themselves. And most of the time a player will open it for them anyway.
AND EVEN IF THAT DIDNT HAPPEN, the player is still gonna be released by decontamation or nuke, so whats the point of having an emergency release button???
I get that some things need to change for the game to be more accessible to new players, but im pretty sure one of the biggest rules of game development is to not remove features which players have found, and had lots of fun using.
