i think scraping would be great, but difficult to identify friction. WF1 had it but the sound never cut out when friction between cars ended.
Grass/Branches would probably be processed similarly to the car just travelling in those areas. Potentially defined by either low or high speed.
i think maybe the friction could be identified by like x thing is less than 0.01 metres to y things therefore play sound, obviously its not that simple but i think thats how it could work
