Game Crashing on Startup Citing Fatal Errors

Been trying to boot up the game with no luck so far. The game initially loads and then crashes showing one of these two errors.

this is kind of a shot in the dark but do you have multiple GPUs ? is the game using the right one ?

  I had this and fixed it by loading the settings instead of loading the game and then in the drop down i selected the other value for my GPU. I have a ROG STRIX gaming laptop with AMD gpu

Okay was able to get pas that, but now I'm getting this one whenever I'm trying to start a race.

I tested on my laptop and got this error when trying to play with more than 2 AI bots.
If the grid size is 3 or more, the game crashes.
FATAL ERROR
Specifications:
OS: Windows 11 24h2
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700u
GPU: AMD Vega 7 (Adrenalin 24.9.1) RAM: 12 GB
SSD nvme
Obs: the race starts only against 2 or less bots at 45 - 60 fps.

I generally don't start races, any races, just crashing lol. I think you can fix it only by buying a new PC not a laptop if you have possible on that.

I have a desktop but it's not near as capable as my laptop

I don't see why they wouldn't be able to fix it at some point

i suggested to add function in setting change resolution for textures example

moderator told me no, or players can add it as a mod for potato laptops

but need just hope

Yes, I believe this will be fixed. Optimization will improve.

same i have desktop too but this not my for parents there is same but the problem is another windows 7, so i didn't had way to run here or i have been n mind, this couldn't working because of old intel or GPU

Desktop is 10 years old

when i googled wreckfest part 1 had same problems, as we meeting now with wreckfest 2

If you're encountering this problem, please describe how much memory (system and video) do you have and try with the lowest possible settings to see whether that helps.

4gb GPU
Tried to run on low graphics and fix it, but it doesn't work, I tried to use VM memory or anything too.
Every person told me that I have a weak GPU and maybe CPU

CPU AMD Ryzen 3 3250u
Ram - 8gb
GPU - Radeon Vega 3 graphics

Thanks, I'm afraid (at least for now) the amount of vram your system has just seems too little for the game with the lowest settings.

Not every person has money to buy desktop PC or anything like that

Not too many options really, either you need a laptop with more video memory or we need to find a way to somehow reduce the amount that the game needs.

Are you able to run games like Fortnite or Forza Horizon, have you tested?

I don't have the Forza horizon, Fortnite didn't test.

Have a solution to function the setting Changing the texture size resolution or its quality? Idk possible or not

Ace combat 7 with similar graphics, if I can read on the internet. I think Forza horizon 4 should be run on my laptop, but this is not possible to buy now at the steam, or sanctions or anything.

By the way today I again tried to run the game, when I waited to finish the loading of the track on a custom race or find a race. I didn't get any error the game just closed without error, but again I think the error could be the same as in the past. Just told it

I think you're right, very likely related to running out of memory.

quick question : I think the game still looks really good on low graphics, do you think you could lower it even further to allow more players to enjoy the game ?
things that are not necessary to gameplay like atmospheric fog, particles, reducing render distance... do they impact the framerate much ?

I am getting this error as well.
My laptop has integrated radeon graphics as well as nVidia RTX 4060.
I suspect the game may be defaulting to the integrated graphics. Is there a command line switch to force which graphics to use in this situation?

I've got a bug report typed up w DxDiag & savegame and screenshot ready to submit, but I decided to check the Discord first...

Never mind.
I found what I needed and can change settings at launch to use the discreet GPU.
