Many people want more complexity. I think that is very reasonable, but can also be abused very easily. I think a good middle ground would be to allow a lot more complexity (around 3500), but you can only publish levels that are within your normal complexity limit. This would allow people to make larger testing worlds, for instance, or just work on things more in depth if they don’t want to publish them (like a minigame map between friends).
