basically there's a little tab that shows an entire list of every player in the server and you can configure whether or not the player is allowed to interact with your builds.

I think he means that the person can build their own blocks and exit them but there would be a setting where the other player cannot edit another players/hosts blocks

That should already be a thing, for everyone and not just the host.

My only concern is people placing things in your way and rendering you unable to move it out of your way.
