battery grabbing glitch

so basically. if u grab onto something with a controller. then take out ur battery on that controller while still grabbing. it wont let go. its hard to explain when ur not in the situation i found it out by my thing controller dying while grabbing

Because of you are grabbing something and take the battery out it had no inputs so it can't stop
