#PVP system what will allow you to create any team on the fly.

So, instead of bringing your ”owned” monsters in PVP you just could build team from scratch in PVP mode at any time, like - select their levels/movesets/abilities/etc in some built in creator menu and fight with them in PVP only.

Having this system will open whole PVP scene for much larger crowds since you won’t even need to tediously build your team for it beforehand.

While I get that there's an appeal in picking any Nexomon and moveset it seems a bit odd that you get to do that at all unless it was a spinoff game lol

I never really delved into PvP aspects of any monster-tamer game myself, but for the most part it was exactly because it always too much of a tedium to build mons properly for hours and hours...

You won't believe how many people enjoy that tedium.

Just look at competitive Pokemon.

#

What GF did was simply make things more accessible to non-competitive players. EXP candies are abundant. Hold items, nature mints, bottle caps can be easily purchased.

Not that it's wrong but there's something thematically odd there in the bigger picture

That on it’s own also could be a good reward for catching them all

#

So people who really into PvP might be incentivised to collect all monsters before trying to experiment with their builds and team compositions in PvP mode

in the nutshell is asking for Nexomon Showdown

From what we know about the game and the lack of IV EV equivalents, it would be relatively easy getting the team you want (just catch them, level em up and equip them), I would actually be disapointed if i trained up a team but in pvp I dont use my own mons

For the moment all we know is that there will be a new equipment system, it's still hasnt been confirmed how it is going to work

Anyway, small stat changes are pretty irrevelant, if the other options are well implemented, you will build a mon a certain way (offensive, bulky, set up...) If a bulky mon has 300 def and the same species has 299 but one more point in attack, you will use the 300 def lol
