I would love if Nexomon III were to have a Demo in the Switch eShop

Yes please! I can keep showing this game to my friends. My friends bought the second game after I let them play on my copy for a bit, but the demo will not require me to physically bring the device to them to try it.

If we're at that, maybe add a playing demo bonus like unique Nexomon or an item that will unlock Mega Nexovolution in the game 😉

Idk if they should but damn if other franchises ain't, it is a super cool feature. It can encourage continual mental engagement and free advertising by giving people food for thought for additional fanarts >:) but I don't know if it's time yet to do something like that...?

#

being able to make fanarts and costumes it literally creates this whole world of, essentially free advertising for the game. People see cool hand drawn or handcrafted projects and find out about the game from there

#

I feel like games who shoot down such free advertising are CRAZY!! Why would they discourage the level of enthusiasm required to create such fan works??!

I kinda disagree. Look for example at Ash Greninja (that nota bene was murdered in Scarlet/Violet). It would be nice to have something like that, and also it's not that the demo is available only to select few and only them and nobody else will get the bonus. The demo is available to everybody and everybody can get that bonus. But the point is that the bonus should be worth trying the demo. Getting extra 10 Nexotraps is not really worth the effort of playing it. Another thing about continuing from the demo. It depends on when the demo will be released. It could be that you still will want to start from the scratch because when the full game will be out, you already will forget about what the demo was.

You’re missing the point of demos. A demo is built to convince players to buy the game so locking a monster or a mechanic behind it isn’t something that would be received in a good way. Also you brought up Ash Greninja well why do you think that got axed? Because it was only available in a demo for a game that’s been out for years and psychical copies for it isn’t being produced anymore

Nintendo are only publishing the games on their console they don’t own the IP and regardless of all of that do you really believe locking key features or a certain behind a demo is something that would be received well for an indie monster taming game?

Of course it’s JV call I’m just saying it’s a bad idea to do such thing

Yeah, I know what for a demo is ;). But a pure demo and nothing else is just lame. A demo with a gift in the full game means that some people at the very least will try out the demo just to get that bonus. As for Ash Greninja - that Pokemon was well available up until like 3 months ago when 3DS E-shop closed. Both the demo and the full game was available there and everybody who wanted Ash Greninja was able to get it up until circa 3 months ago.

As for Nexomon, I'm pretty sure the demo will be available even after the game will come out, so the bonus will be still available to everybody who will want it.
