are you mining in your first day? cause first day is still in permafrost so only the hogpan area is diggable

same here : i cannot mine: earth = rock solid with the big excavator. so i got exactly same isue and im on day 2 to check perma frost.

at second day dawn +3 hours i finaly can dig .
