It is great to see the community taking part in challenges each leaderboard. One challenge that I've heard from the community is to add a hard mode leaderboard. Many of the top players on the board would like to see this challenge and by adding a separate hard mode leaderboard, we could see new names in the top ten. Yes it's not for the faint of heart but this community is a glutton punishment lol.

This has always been something I've asked for but idk if it will ever happen as discussions went before this would be a lb tuned to a small group and would exclude a lot of players. Since they want them to be fun for all and playable for all we would need a big showing of players supporting something like this.

I’m very suprised this hasn’t gotten more traction I understand it may seam from the outside that it may only be a small amount of people that would play it but if you took the top 20-30 players from each board to start it would only grow from there and that would open up a lot of spots for newer players. We could also do a 2 weeks hard mode and have a week off the regular boards start for 2 weeks and a week off again.

I heard of Split suggesting massive changes to hard-mode on Indie's stream. No! We want no changes to hard-mode. Keep the Mode the same. Its alreaddy hard. We just want a leaderboard for it. This would allow newer players to compete on the regular board(DLC & NON-DLC) with less competitive players and allow the veterans to fight on Hard-Mode.

I saw Split post his ideas in that stream yesterday as well. The hard mode leaderboard we would like to see is a single player hard mode uploaded to a separate leaderboard to avoid forcing everyone to compete. We don't want to see leaderboards hurt as most of the player base comes back during these months and a forces hard mode would hurt that. If Split did play leaderboard, or atleast competed in modern leaderboards regularly, then maybe we could consider his ideas. However Split is out of touch with modern meta, strategy and current player base. Please reach out to the current recurring top leaderboard players for ideas. I can provide discord tags to reach them or let me know and I can arrange a conversation in vc or group chat.
