I was thinking about a new qol addition and thought of a pretty cool one. A counter of how many enemies are left in the map, it would be right next to the counter that shows your streak. If it is an enemy that comes from the ground like the scorpion from toxic sewers then it would not count. These enemies would not show on the map like usual. It would not show how many elites are on the map either.

Not sure if this would break the game in any way but it seems pretty cool. Please give feedback.

why wouldn’t scorpions and co. count
they are already present in the map, they don’t just spawn
you can see them with explorer’s instinct

Its very useful for "slayer" type of players (which i am too) because i don't like leaving enemies on biome

This just does the same thing as explorers instinct no? Unless you are the type of player that doesn’t fully explore biomes this is useless

But would still be nice nonetheless

yeah, counting the little skulls on the map after explorer's instinct activates can be tedious. (and also, in ossuary, remembering not to count the skulls that are grouped up because they are probably the orange slime trash mobs).

This would be very useful for double-checking whether the biome has 10 enemies left or not so it's "safe" to take a curse and be able to clear it before you go to a boss.

On 5BC, having a count of "how many enemies remaining until Malaise Cleared" could be useful too.
