I feel like if you're gonna suggest this at all you'd need to go farther
if you're removing this type of scroll RNG, why should dualstats still pick mainstat based on amulets and also sometimes have mainstat?
why should the three bonus frags be random?
etc.

you'd also need to give biomes with a guaranteed cursed chest an extra scroll to compensate

I know this is super extreme but I wonder if removing damage ups from scrolls or even scrolls entirely might be the best thing for the game
What are they really adding?

The scrolls themselves force the player to explore most of the biome (or, if the enemy is holding a scroll, to kill that particular enemy). I wouldn't mind a rework to that aspect of the game, though, it is very arbitrary what points within the biome you'll be able to get the scrolls at (and thus, e.g. get the +70% HP bonus for putting your first stat in Survival)

I think it would make more sense if you got scrolls within PQ or whatever and then got to actually 'redeem' them at the end of the biome

idk i think also a way to change your main color would be cool, could make people less afraid to try a new color and would allow changing builds FULLY midrun

but yeah idk about removing scrolls from cursed chests, maybe a redo to the cursed chest mechanic but why take them if not for the scrolls, the colorless item is more of a bonus rather than the main reason
