what doesn't kill me: it now heals you when you pull off a chain of 5 successful parries but the amount you heal is doubled, wdkm is an insane source of healing as you can get parries fairly easily by just parrying slow and weak units, making you have to do a streak of 5 parries makes is more challenging to get the heal but the heal amount has been doubled to still make it a viable option just not as viable
will continue in comments since im running out of space
#i big list of balance changes(or general ideas) for mutations as a whole
60 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
initiative: it now switches to a percentage based damage(min: 10% max:25%) and also gives a speed boost after the hit making it great for a assasin build where you kill a enemey then you go invisible then you kill another enemy, the damage boost and speed boost give it a nice new home in builds in which it wasnt strong enough to impact
i will come back after a short break
we don't need removals
"Remove three of the best mutations, make another one completely centered around something people already complain about, do something good with initiative"
I do really like the speed boost addition to initiative
bad
scheme and rangers gear are meant for skills like hook and phaser for damage a short cooldown
with this logic why not remove spite? it’s not a ton of damage
i will have balance changes for spite aswell im just doing a assignment rn
L
spite: now is percentile based (min:%30 max:%75) making the base 30% will alow even tactics or brutality builds with shield appreciate the mutation and now it wont become useless mid-late game
parting gift: instead of activating on kill it has a 20% chance to activate on hit, the damage is now around 20%min 50% max damage of the dps of the weapon used to activate it
and im done
ah yes make parting gift worse
These changes and removals are not good at all
why remove counter attack >:( its funny with iron staff and spite
I legitimately don't know why I didn't think that shield mutations didn't work with iron staff until just now
read my suggestions on spite rework. also includes wdkm and adrenaline reworks
yeah i know im shameless
Absolutely useless stuff
wow, nice feedback
These changes are ass, no
no its not

none of the mutations need to be outright removed. them being reworked is a much, much better strategy
things like initiative should be % based though, i agree. its worthless right now
acceptance has large potential. my suggestion for it was making it turn curses into malaise instead
people becoming litteral monkeys over some suggestions
no feedback apart from like 3 people rest of it just calling it ass and shit, have some decency jfc
its a video game and these are just suggestions not the next balance changes
like wow good job guys i now entirely get what was wrong with my suggestions after the same npc calls it shit and useless for the 5th time
common dc server L
Okay but have you considered making ideas that aren’t “shit” and “useless”
There is clearly a reason why that’s the feedback you are getting
yeah but i cant find it because almost no one is giving any actual FEEDBACK
just get better takes
There is no feedback to give other than “it’s bad”
there obviously must be
explaining why its bad isnt hard
"oh the removal of x might make y builds entirely useless and the reasons given dont work because Z"
have you considered expanding your vocabulary beyond "skill issue" and horse react
and "im going to fucking kill myself"
lol
haha i have that one too
anyway @brave arrow did you read my mutation suggestions a few of them are pretty similar to yours
il read them ig

have you beaten 5bc yet
thanks
tell me wat u think
no, not really. if you dont have anything useful to say just downvote and dont say anything
I don't remember the changes you proposed, but I noticed that the most recent suggestions about some random reworks aren't needed, like at all.
People are only suggestion reworks for the sake of reworks, not for the sake of making an item better because it has issues
