After watching for a certain amount of time, the video freezes

When I watch a video on Youtube, it freezes suddenly and when I turn it off and on, it gets better, but the problem is not on my internet, I watch it for 30 seconds, the video freezes suddenly, does anyone know why this is happening, is there a solution, can you help?

Just go to settings- revanced extended -flyout menu-enable old style quality layout (just turn it off) .. let me know if this works

I've been wanting to report the fix. I had this issue a while ago on my moms phone and the poor lady had to continue watching ads.

Today I've found the fix.

Settings > revanced > Ads > turn off "hide video ads" and restart youtube when prompted. Then turn it back on.

This resolved the issue for me just a moment ago.

I hope someone can report this fix so that it can be used to fix the causing bug. I can't open an issue on the github unfortunately

***Note this is after installing the latest version of vanced and patching the recommended youtube apt from apkmirror, the nodpi apk.

Just Google revanced extended and download it and the microg to it , now.it works for me
