A VERY WIERD, but helpful tip:
If you are on all the most newest versions of all the apps needed to run vanced, AND correctly signed in, but YT says "please update" on every video, try:

Going to firefox/chrome/etc browser.
Opening a TON of tabs (Private browsing os better, since it is easier to clear them all later, in 1 button press)
Keep opening tabs, until you get "___ keeps stopping" messages.

For some strange reason, overloading the chips like this will suddenly allow Vanced to run perfectly!

Once you hit a snag, rinse & repeat 😁
