Maybe add a self promo channel in miscealenious so people can share their more personal, non mii-related creations from youtube, discord servers, etc. You can also add like a 6 hour countdown or whatever its called in between messages so people dont spam their video or discord server.

If it's ever gonna get added at all it's gonna need far more stricter restrictions than just a 6 hour cooldown between messages. This could be abused in a lot of ways

Yes, but a self promo channel can funnel any would-be posters into that area, which can be heavily monitered when clustered than spanned out

Agree, yeah definitely also stricter restrictions, and I am taking back my discord thought, maybe just youtube videos.

First off. People can share a lot of that already. Art? Music? Videos? That one person who made soap? All can be shared in #1140090020234006558 or #media or #music (depending on if u made it or just wanna talk or share a thing u found.) Stuff can be shared without it being a promotional thing

Second off, for actual promotional content, I actually did float the talk in the mod chats not long ago, and the decision settled on was that it would be too much of a hassle and a risk of people sharing things containing content not allowed here. This especially applies to other discord servers, of which we even have an automod filter to prevent the posting of

for the record what I floated to the others also was not even a full promo channel, just the thought of if we should loosen the rules slightly, which was a solid no in agreement
