#raise hero role tatsu points requirement from 25000 to 35000 or higher

I'd give it some time before changing the requirements, since it'd kick out the new users who just got in. Right now I don't see it as too big of a deal, but if it does become a problem/users that are troublesome get in, it'll be considered (alongside perms being revoked for offending users)
oh yeah i didn't think that it'd kick the new members out
oopsies
that would kick out 27 members (AT MOST), and that's if they change it to 35k specifically. for the reason this was suggested, that's good but... wow that's a lot
plus, there are already some "problematic" members in the cafe already that are way above 35k, so increasing the cap wouldn't do much for those. just my two cents
I'm curious as to who you mean by this, if it's smth worth being concerned of
yeah the kicking out of members under 35k is unintentional, if we did raise it then obviously we'd keep those people in
i don't have anyone in mind. i'm just saying, if there was anyone, they probably wouldn't be bordering server reg. sorry for the lack of clarification
oh
huh
ya spoke like there was specific ppl lmao
tbh the hero role point requirement at 25000 is already pretty high as-is
and this influx of new members came several months after the role was added so I think it's fine
we've already got ways to manually add/remove members and override the system so members getting removed by the changes won't be of much concern
Yeah, very few newcomers have gotten Hero. Most of the people with the role are long time server members. And as Shawn mentioned, Hero perms can be removed if need be.
I think the quickest anyone has gotten hero role recently is Fabled, he got it within a month, but he's trusted in the server
So yeah, I don't think we've had any really problematic users get the hero role yet
In terms of problem users, as Kyle mentioned, I can only really recall one particularly egregious user (I'm sure he knows who I'm talking about lol), and he's since been banned. I feel like most people can at least get along on civil terms despite our differences
We've had several bad users in the past, although I don't know which of them got to hero (server regular at the time for some of them)
But all in all it's fine rn, and we probably won't need to up the server regular requirements considering the fact that we have other options to keep bad users out of #the-café
