Figured I should toss this as an actual suggestion instead of just commenting about it from time to time sooo here it is

I know yall want boosters and boosters deserve at least some kinda bonuses, but considering what else they get (custom roles, a confirmed emote/sticker slot, isn't there secret booster channels too?), it feels... _odd- to lock certain types of posting behind being a booster as well.

My proposal isn't to remove this ability, it's feel unfair to those who boost to have it taken away now that they've already had the ability for some time, rather my suggestion is just. make it be something you can eventually unlock by being an active user. Being a booster can hook it early, but for those who can't boost for whatever reasons they can maybe still eventually have the image/embed perms.

I know it's not a huge issue, but it's one I've thought about multiple occasions, so here yall go lmao

being neither a mod/former mod nor a booster and still having that power does also feel a bit unfair

I get both sides cuz some people who are server regulars are scary but sometimes more people image posting can lead to funny stuff

At least smth like server regulars is like. uuuusually fairly trusted user just on account of having been active enough to get the role at all

I can attend that it should be trialed. Like if too many images are being sent and it's partially ruining chat remove it

but I know like a server I'm in with over 20,000 members has image perms open to close to 1000 or so of those people and the chat never feels cluttered with images, usually a one and done

the issue isn't really "nowhere to talk with images" it's "it's sorta weird that only specific ppl can post images in the inn"

it just seems odd that the only ppl besides mods who can do that are boosters, seeing as how boosters already get a lot of benefits and all
as per what I stated before, if nothing else have it be something you can earn by one of those roles you get for being active enough, and boosting just means u can get it earlier than that
