Okay, so

#

I should first state that she's Marjolijn's younger sister (this lass here)

#

The two actually moved to Australia together because Marjolijn was initially moving to Australia to study and wanted to bring her sister with her because she and Roosje are close, thus she didn't want to leave her in the Netherlands with their parents and thought "Hey, I'm going to Australia, might bring my sister with me".

#

The pair of sisters are in the midst of applying for Australian citizenship, meaning they have to renounce their Dutch citizenship (Dutch law doesn't permit dual-citizenship).

#

Now, onto more Roosje focused stuff.

#

Roosje has a spinal condition called spina bifida, basically meaning part of her spine protrudes outward from her back (obviously I can't represent this on a Mii). This means that she is wheelchair bound and is quite reliant on others.

#

However, as part of starting a new life in Australia with Marjolijn, she learns that her sister can't always be with her, and so it's often the teachers at school that help her with any issues she may find her condition causing her as they impact her schooling.

#

She and Marjolijn live in an apartment together (she's connected to everyone due to going to school at the school Nadia, Michelle and such teach at).

#

The first friend she made (and the only one she'd have for her first two or so years in Australia), is this sweet old Italian lady

#

Her name's Fiorenza and she's best friend, main confidant and main helper to Roosje for quite a while.

#

In fact, so much so that she's essentially considered a parental figure for Roosje.
