yeah, what doesn't work ?
is there an error, do some keys not appear ?
does it stop at certain characters ?
are the keys typed just wrong ?
@mystic cliff can we talk here ?
can you check that you have all the libraries installed in the right places ?
the ducky in general doesn´t work when i try to take the german layout
ok, can you access the REPL to see the error ?
the simplest way is using Mu and click the serial button, the hit ctrl-C ctrl-D in the serial panel
https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-circuitpython/kattni-connecting-to-the-serial-console
this is the original file where i have to change some lines, fyi for the change i use notepad++
this is the changed file
I think _gr is Greek, you want _de
the german language files are "de", from the zip in the release
https://github.com/Neradoc/Circuitpython_Keyboard_Layouts/releases/tag/20220208
gr is what is used on the kbdlayout site
but there's no need to use the online generator, when the layout is in the repository
in any case, make sure the import matches the file, but you should try accessing the serial port to see what error is reported
sigh
the instructions clearly state that the files go in the lib folder
so please, put the files where the instructions say to put the files
ok, is there still an error now ?
I shouldn't be mad, you're not the only one, not sure why people get that wrong 🤷
if you have issues with letters not being recognized, you can ping me in the #help-with-circuitpython channel
It works but what can i do now? It doesn't open the Editor itself, i have to click allow, if not there comes an error
