#Home Assistant with PoE+ HAT talk

Rolled this into a thread. Maybe I should rethink this, I just don't have any free outlets in that area. I was going to replace a router switch up there with a PoE, then I could power several of the devices via that instead of using regular power cables.
But, this fan being this angry, loud, little thing it is, that's a lot of noise in my living room.
Sorry, I missed the point of your question. I have no experience with POE.
Oh, no worries. I am just rethinking the whole thing now because the HAT is so loud.
I have a fan on a “brain craft” and it is loud when it comes on, but fortunately, I have not gotten it to trigger often. Mostly because the tensor flow software is not working now under bullseye so I have it in a box until I get time to look into it 😉
that's the solution! Just put everything back in their boxes and continue using Google Assistant. 😄
but, I'm going to give this a try and see what I can come up with... first it looks like I have to roll my own cloudflared add-on because the system uses some kind of config manager that wipes all my stuff out after reboot,
so, I am going to have to learn how to use this thing properly
Have you written any add-ons for Home Assistant?
Just a few “integrations” using their yaml editor. No add-ons. I started with the Adafruit guide. And added a few sensors via mqtt.
So much to learn…
@tight hill boy am I glad I did a better google search once I knew what I was looking for, and it turns out that someone already did the work for us/me:
